Why do the brilliant event days not included holiday days?

I usually only see my nephews over holidays but there's never any brilliant events that span into a holiday. The one for thanksgiving ends today and while there is a "community day" style event over this week I'm not able to help my nephew get the green books he needs while we are together. I'm also guessing the Christmas calamity part two will also end before the holiday so will miss out helping him again to get those rewards.

I'm pretty sure the LOH event starts today and runs through to next Tuesday, so you should be able to at least help him with that. As for no big events over holidays, my guess is that a lot of people might complain the exact opposite? Don't know, can't really speak for them.

I feel you, but I believe we'd also hear complaints from players if Brilliant events did span across holidays. Speaking only for myself, it would be a pain. In the days leading up to a major holiday, I'm busy preparing. Afterward, I'm busy cleaning. All I want to do on the actual holiday is feast, relax, and spend quality time with family. For some, that quality time could include playing this game together, which is perfectly fine. For others though, playing a silly mobile game doesn't feel like quality time at all. Nobody is wrong. Everyone should do whatever makes them happy. From a developer's perspective, this is another classic case of being unable to please everyone. Whether they choose to hold events during holidays or not, some players won't be happy about it.

LoL, @MtPollux. Yeah, true, but I think everyone should get in on it. The rest of the world could call it whatever they want, but who doesn't like another excuse to gather and feast with friends and family? Heck, I'm an atheist, but I still celebrate Christmas alongside my Christian friends because it's fun! I think we should all take part in each other's holidays, and the only consequence would be all of us spending a lot more time enjoying ourselves. 😊

@Acumen can't argue with that! And heaven forbid we learn more about each other, beliefs, and culture, and possibly tolerance for others in that way?!? What?? 😉
