Issue with the severe weather restriction on spawn rates

I get a message in **** Rouge, Louisiana constantly about traces being less common due to hazardous conditions in my area. The Mississippi River is high, but poses no danger to the city, and little danger anywhere in our State. This constant state leaves our large metropolitan area in a state of less spawning. I would imagine this weather restriction would be better suited for air quality or extreme heat conditions, or even tornado, flash flood, hurricane conditions. Can an exception be made for high water level warnings? :) They pose no danger to players beyond the minor danger present to all indoors and out....

Hear, hear! I was surprised here in coastal Maine to open the app and see a weather restriction on spawns. I check with NWS—the alert is about cold water at beaches. Not exactly a hazard that should deter game play.

please develop a filter for those weather advisories that actually pose a risk to players.

I'm having frustrations over this mechanic too! Spawns are reduced from the smallest weather warnings. In my area, there are currently heat and humidity warnings, cause yeah, it's summertime, and most people have enough sense to avoid going out too long midday. But why should us players be punished for bad weather? I understand Niantic wants people to stay safe, but it should be up to the player to judge the current weather conditions. I don't mind the app letting players know that the weather is bad, but don't stop the players from playing! I'm getting frustrated at having reduced spawns even during the cooler nighttime, or if I'm staying indoors during the day!!
