Hi, I am guessing Fanfest will return to Indianapolis around the same time next year, should they follow they same pattern as in Pokemon Go with Chicago. We recently had our first Safari Zone event in Montreal so I'm hoping that HPWU will expand to have different events in various locations much like PokeGo is doing.
Just like the other AR game Pokémon GO, there would be plans for many more Events like the Fan Fest. I hope they make it just as interesting as this Fan Fest was with the new Encounters.
