@ZookiTabooki yeh it really is a worry not daring to open the registry in case it bugs out! I'm hoping mine will keep doing it ok on 2nd time round after 1st glitch keeps happening. Im also getting the thrown back to map glitch on some confoundables & then don't know if i got credit for it. Worst has been the portkeys, since update none have shown results page just kicked straight back to next portkey page & also got kicked out early of a couple.
But as we've said its all gone on app feedback so they will be working on it. Meanwhile im just carry on & hope im getting the rewards. Gotta have bit of perspective eh? It is a game, not life or death scenario lol! I keep reminding myself 😊
I just updated the app and cannot hide my dissapointment... You deleted the fortress I used to visit the most :/ I'm really thankfull for the option to skip the animation but this just made me kinda angry as I had this fortress on my way home and I used to just stop on my way to play.... I'm not a fan of fortress and inn changing :/

I really like being able to skip through all of the animations after returning a fundable, but, having a disappearing notification to accompany it would be re-assuring. Something like "+500 for Horned serpent added", for example.

I’ve been on a cruise since Sunday last week without cell service so today I was able to download and play this new version. I like the ability to skip through the scenes at the end and this will make a lot of players much happier to farm more quickly. I also saw some energy as a reward from some of the fortresses and that was pretty awesome too. I do seem to have a few issues of sparkly noises carrying over after I’m done with a fortress and my rewards screen not appearing after I’m done opening a Portkey. However, I have a ton of threads to go through from this past week to see what has already been reported and what hasn’t.
Thanks developers for the bug fixes in this one and I’m excited to see what is to come with the Brilliant events in October.
@Grumpeeee by "Amber engagements" do you mean the color of the beam? If so, those are higher threat foundables which means a quite low chance to return them without a potion. I don't know with certainty, but I'm fairly sure that what you're seeing as a penalty against masterful casts is just bad rng. In fact, if you're returning those items successfully without a potion (no matter the quality of your trace) then you're actually quite lucky.
fyi, there is an unofficial workaround for the bug that skips to map without showing reward summary automatically even when you don’t tap

I would imagine, if the escapee and death eaters behave like any other oddities, they will indeed trigger the bug that requires restarting the app. The good news is I saw someone post that if you skip the post-knockout animation on an oddity, the bug isn't triggered. I've been testing this for a few days now, and it seems to work. It's not a fix, but at least it's a decent workaround until we get one.
@kiheikid If they are like regular oddity encounters, there is a way to avoid triggering the bugs: when you win the battle, as soon as you see the "success" message, tap to skip the ending animation. If you don't let the oddity animation play, then the summary skip and registry freeze bugs won't happen. This was pointed out by someone in another thread (maybe @Acumen? I don't recall), and since I learned this I've only had the bugs show up one time when I actually let an oddity's animation play rather than skipping it right away.
Like you, I'm anxiously awaiting a fix to the bug, but by using this trick I've been able to completely avoid the bugs which has removed the huge frustration factor for me of having to restart the app all the time. It's not perfect, but at least it will help us to play and enjoy the new event.

seems like a pick-your-poison situation, but i guess i can decide based on circumstances which is the lesser evil (circumstances such as if there were many other traces on screen at time i tapped oddity trace, or if there is no convenient place to stop and wait out the reboot sequence of your phone)
@kiheikid I didn't do a very good job of explaining. When you beat an oddity, tap the screen right away to skip the return animation. That will bring you to the rewards screen for the oddity, and will prevent the error from appearing with other types of foundables. There's no need to pick your poison, in this case you can have your cake and eat it too.

I hope there is better fix coming for when app freezes while leveling family xp up. It getting annoying to exit the game and restart the app every time family xp hits 100.
@SumaHan - yes, had to reboot when trick did not work and rewards sequence skipped following encounters with each of the brand new oddities. sucks when have to reboot multiple times during brilliant event, especially while 30 minute clocks for trace tonic and brain elixir are wasting away
@OriginalCaruso I would think that if the potion is already brewing that you would have to lose the ingredients and time (akin to dumping out your cauldron). The queue system works awkwardly. If you haven't actually started brewing a potion those ingredients should not be removed yet. So to make this work I think it would mean leaving ingredients in people's inventory and only removing them when the potion starts brewing. This would likely lead to complaints about the inventory size (increasing everyones inventory by 30-60 should alleviate any potential complaint there). People would want a notification though if you try to delete too much of an ingredient that is part of the queue (Are you sure? Removing this ingredient from your inventory will remove X potion from your queue). Overall, it is very feasible that way in my opinion.

@AyaSunhye Check again tomorrow, you may find your fortress took a short vacation and has returned. I've seen this happen with Inns.

Are there plans (consideration) for "respec" of class; or, at the very least, purchase option in the store (recommended)?
Amber or higher engagements coupled with Masterful cast vary in low outcome. Ineffective and disappearing.
Amber or Higher engagements coupled with Great or Good prove higher success.
I'm concerned the algorithm is penalizing Masterful casts that do not include an augmented potion application.

Unfortunately, we cannot skip-tap an encounter if we hadnt have a fragment of it.
And since we are gonna take new types of foundable, some restarts might be needed.

I have a couple of ideas to suggest for future updates.
I would like to be able to delete a potion waiting in queue.
For the special assignment notification icon displaying the number of days for the event could also show the current number of tasks eg. 1/4
If you tap on it, the current tasks unfolds below displaying tasks remaining to complete or long press to switch to the more detailed info page.
Deleting a potion makes sense but only if the ingredients are lost and not refunded otherwise storage could be exceeded
Also, it doesn’t seem right to be able to start an Exstimulo, cancel, replace with a Potent Exstimulo by adding the net ingredients
