I used a lvl 3 runestone (magical artifacts, iirc) on a lvl 2 ruins chamber, a few hours ago, and faced a formidable death eater. Maybe try playing around with different runestones and chambers close to that combination.
I did a lvl 2 ruins chamber, tonight, with a lvl 3 or 4 runestone (Magical Artefacts, iirc) and encountered a Formidable Death Eater. Maybe try playing around with chamber and runestone combinations similar to that?
I have found more on floor 3, followed by 4, than any other floors. Theoretically, floor 5 should have more formidable pixies, but for some reason I only encounter common and imposing pixies on floor 5.
Oddity runes? I'll have to try that. I've never gotten one using a level one rune. I've only gotten them on floor 3 using a level 2 or 3 rune. Floor 4 has almost always gotten me an imposing pixies and a common once. Level one runes have always gotten me common on floor 3. Has anyone seen one with a level one rune?
From what I've seen, the Enemies are created based on which profession started the "raid"... and Formidable Pixies won't show up for Magizoologists when raiding L3-5... so find a Professor, ask him to start a L3 raid, join and there is a higher chance that you'll get a formidable Pixie.
Magizoologist here. I've only seen them at Level 4, Rune 2. I'm out of Level 2 Runes now, so I'm trying with Level 1. I've only gotten 2/10 so far, so this will be a looong challenge.

I’m 2/10 on the same challenge, and found both in ruins chamber 4, using a level 1 stone. Just FYI. YMMV.

How do I find or start a wizard challenge, I only get about 30mins in a day lol plz help
Also, got two by using level 1 Care of Magical Creatures rune in challenge level 5

There is no 100% proof plan to get it to appear.
Best is to try level 3 onwards with more people together.
More people means more monsters to clear as a team, hence higher chances of getting it.
Stick to Profession Grade 5 and 6.

Any tips for catching pixies (of any kind) - I'm rubbish at it.
