Is there a way to apply to have an inn or greenhouse put up in an area? The GPS doesn't recognize my street and I don't get any any spawns for at least a half mile from my house.
Eu moro no Bairro Ceu Azul em Belo Horizonte-MG. Aqui no bairro não tem nada direito, nao tem estalagens para conseguir energias. Perto daqui existe uma praça que dava para ter uma Fortaleza inclusive.
I am sure WU has some of the distance restrictions that Pogo has. An amazing farm location I live near to in ingress was greatly reduced in Pogo due to several 100 portals being squashed into the small area, it appears the same in WU.
That being said, it also appears that currently newly created portals in ingress are not yet being imported in WU (dating back at least to portals created a couple of weeks before global release)
Hi, first post so please bare with me. I also am interested on how i can go about having an inn placed in my street? Its a new area and will be a main road in the next few months with my street being central.
There is currently no way to add a new location into WU. A high level Ingress player can add new portals which will (probably) show up in WU as an inn/greenhouse/fortress. Even though it would be convenient to have a spot right near your house, most residential neighborhoods aren't great areas for inns. Google "Ingress portal criteria" for more info on where one could create a POI.
@Cespar new portals are definitely being imported into WU (well, some of them anyway).
@bobelbritanico Hi, can you apply for a portal on ingress if i send you a photograph and the coordinates? When I contacted the support team for requesting inns, fortresses and greenhouses, their recommendation was to have an ingress player or PoGo player apply on our behalf.

for ingress agents - portals with missing pictures, missing descriptions, and generally incomplete data tend not to get carried over. I will refrain from saying that unless a portal has all of its information proper it will be ported, but it is highly unlikely that it will.
i dont blame them - if i were on the wizards unite dev team i would not want incomplete or unfinished submissions carried over either.
if you are an agent and notice point of interest map objects missing information, do your part and take the time to stop and complete the entry.
no promises it will make something carry over, but at least you can make it a qualified candidate.
@Artymerl that ingress agent would have to physically go to the location you are trying to have added. submissions are restricted by geolocation within a short distance of the actual physical spot.

@Rowan0252 the process to add a location is pretty simple, but there are a lot of requirements, rules and restrictions.
for starters you need to reach a certain level of player in those other games - for ingress the bar is a little bit lower then in pokemom go, but either way it is not something you can just go do. there will be a significant investment of time before you will be able to do this thing.
this is a good thing - you need to understand why things can become a location before you go submitting locations, and even then - submissions are not a sure thing. many other people will check your work, make sure it is accurate, and grade your submission before it is approved.
you will also have to read the rules and guidelines for submissions, and then be tested on your knowledge of what is and is not valid before being allowed to submit candidates for review and grading.
after all of that - you can only submit so many locations within a specific time period before you may submit more candidates.
this process is designed after years of refinement to ensure that the incoming submissions do not overwhelm the approval process with too many at once, and to protect the quality of the location database.
if your street does not appear in the game then you will have additional steps to go through to get that resolved first, and there will be a time delay before that happens. this step is a little beyond the scope of this thread, and truthfully beyond the scope of submissions themselves. not out of reach, and not something you cannot fix, but you will likely not get point of interest locations added until this first hurdle is addressed.
The agent must take the photo themselves and be physically present (or at least near) the location to make the submission.
When they suggested you contact an Ingress agent to make the submission they would have meant a local Ingress agent.
You also need to be aware that submitting a portal/stop/inn request is one thing - but having the submission accepted by Niantic's OPR portal acceptance process is another. In other words submitting a candidate doesn't necessarily mean it will get accepted.

I would also like to know about It and also wanted to know why some ingress portals were not migrated to Harry Potter

Ingress player here.
I have created numerous portals which have been accepted in Ingress and then transferred to HPWW.
Typical candidates are churches, public monuments and children's play areas. Parks often have various good candidates.
The average residential area doesn't usually have many possibilities.

Hi Artymerl- Sorry it doesn't work like that.
