The centaur bows are definitely a pain, @JulieJubz. Someone claimed a while back that the Ruins chambers are best for item drops, particularly Ruins III. I'll battle in Ruins chambers occasionally to try and get a few more unfinished book fragments. While I do get fairly consistent item drops, I've noticed I'm just as likely to get a centaur bow out of the Tower or Forest chambers. Either way, I only get them less than 50% of the time. Otherwise it's nothing, or the horned serpent eggs. I've only seen 8 horned serpents since the game went live (rare in my area), so I have yet to prestige that page. I placed the image for horned serpent eggs within the first couple weeks of game play, so I also tend to shake my fist at the sky when I get one of those. Stop giving me what I don't need! I wish we could see a count on item drops from fortress challenges just like the "seen" count for the Foundables we encounter in the wild. I'm pretty sure I've "seen" 50 horned serpent eggs, and 40 of those have been useless since I haven't prestiged the page yet.
I'm glad you did well on the interview @Herm10neG92. I think I saw you mention you traveled to Texas for it, right? If you ever roll through Amarillo, I'd be delighted to buy you and yours a round, and maybe we could make up a drinking game that involves fortress challenges, lol. And yes, I did get to hang out with a hippogriff at Taco Bell one night. I believe I saw it written somewhere in Newt's journal that hippogriffs love nachos, doxies like Big Macs, and centaurs are quite fond of Hawaiian style pizza with a pint of IPA.

@Acumen It's interesting the various challenges players are faced with in this game, and it's clearly all about location. Horned serpents are not the issue for me, it's those horned serpent eggs that have become a thorn in my side. I have needed a single one to prestige my frame and for weeks now, nothing. Similarly, I've needed two copies of A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration to finally prestige that frame. I've been waiting even longer for this than horned serpent eggs. Access to books seem to have dropped off considerably of late. Either way, the pattern appears to be, if you're close and only need a fragment, have fun trying to get it. I also get frequent departures on last fragment situations, and I almost expect it now.

I heard about all the emergency foundables at WUFF and would really love to attend the next one. The whole experience sounds amazing. Hopefully timing and location would work out. Even if it’s in the UK, I’m game!
@ZookiTabooki that last bit is funny! It totally seems like that sometimes! I’m one away from placing the Slytherin portrait, and twice now he’s fled on first cast! So I’m also in the shake fist at sky club!😂😂

@Acumen Yes! It was in Houston, where I’m originally from. My husband is a born and raised Texan so he’s been very antsy to get back home as soon as I’m out of school (or sooner if I land this job). That would be such a fun time! Amarillo is a haul but so is pretty much anything in Texas haha. Idk about centaurs liking pizza and IPAs, but my husband sure does 😅. Newt might be on to something though. Hopefully it’ll help me find the elusive Buckbeak or at the very least give me an excuse to have some late night snacks.

Lol. I know its not a guarantee to be same- but theres lots of data on all the centaur bows etc & it could be useful.
I think @LeFayeofAlbion has set up a google sote for data after id put the formidable pixies on. I've not had chance to look yet & might need help to use it lol but il give it a go. I totally envy you guys taking notes and actually paying attention @AuroraKadavra , because as for me, I just sit there letting my mind wonder and never understanding why I got a certain thing from this or that. It took me such a long time to figure out certain things in the game because I've been such an airhead about it 🤣
I used so many runestones today and didn’t get a single family foundable drop and I keep getting useless stuff from portkeys too. I think the game hates me. Atleast 15 scrolls for today’s mystery daily check-in bonus (spoilers for those who are still in yesterday)
Here’s the link to the formidable pixies record. I think at the moment, all of us who are inputting data have finished the SOS assignment and now formidable pixies are appearing in abundance. I came acrosss two in one chamber today. People who are yet to come across the SOS task or are stuck on the task are encouraged to fill in the form.
@LeFayeofAlbion That reminds me... While the charts and whatnot are cool, I think it would be easier to see a table sorted by profession so we can see if there are any trends that way. The way the results showed for me yesterday, it doesn't show what profession used what stone in which chamber, etc. Can you change the way the results are shown?

Its just the previous Engkish Teacher in me can't help but jot things down & i like trying to analyse what is happening- it keeps my brain busy whilst im off work & i enjoy doing it. Im sure many wouldnt have the time or energy or wish to do that- it's ok- us nerds who do have got it covered 😂😀

I watched fantastic beasts last night & it was brilliant to see all the creatures now with the context of the game 😀 I was like a kid saying oooh theres the billywig! And when Newt uses the swooping evil it was so cool! Id not noticed some things that i now saw cos of this game! Watching it again with kids today lol & then Crimes of Grindelwald as its horrid weather out.
I love being able to escape into other worlds as this one can b a bit tough at times! Thank goodness for fantasy worlds!!
Hubby got a unicorn on Friday after work! So jealous. But then this morning, we both got the whomping willow! Woohoo!! I love seeing everyone find and hopefully get those rare foundables, it’s so fun to vicariously live through others’ finds!

And you are bob on about us all enjoying the game through other's experiences on here- it's great to hear about those rare omes & what happened, the tales are often so entertaining & strike a chord with us all 😀

I got a wonderful pressie yest from a friend of 50 artist brush markers, set of 10 metallic brush markers, set of 10 watercolour brush pens & pack 12 watercolour powder pots!! And i felt they are just begging to be used in some fan art of the mooncalf, troll, philosophers stone etc all fab screenshots i have, and they are particular to the game rather than the films so its s new project i can't wait to start 😀
