Ive opened 16 portkeys that were collected after the event launched with new tonic & not had a single one! Gutted. I want to have a play using the potion. Ive used 2 of the 3 i had trying out how it works when im stuck at home at dusk & at dawn for oddity traces. But only 1 left now & im not paying 60 to brew it!
Got 2 portkeys to open later- will see how goes but its really frustrating so far. I also noticed in all of them a drop in the success of finding dragon claw and i really need that!! Ive been getting things like snowdrop & newt spleen- seriously!!? As a portkey reward! Gutted! Lol
The Erumpent horns seem to be rarer than dragon claws for me. As in, I got none. And for some reason I don’t even seem to be coming across any 10km portkeys either. And the 2k portkeys are giving be scurvygrass and vervain infusion! I’m an Auror who mostly battle solo! I don’t even brew invigoration draughts!
Annoyingly missing from my game. Haven’t seen one anywhere and have yet to receive one from a portkey... and i’ve opened 10s of those. Bit poor really.

I finally got a couple from portkeys. I'll keep them around in case I need them, but I doubt I'll ever need to brew the trace detection tonic. It's cool that it exists for players who don't have access to areas with decent spawn rates though. I might crack open a bottle during community day this weekend. That's the only scenario where I can see it being of any use to me.
I don't know about you, but I've been finding the stray erumpent horn only in portkeys. Today though, my friend said he found one just lying on the ground at the beach. Anybody else finding it in the wild and if so, where? Could it be a glitch? I once encountered a Doxie in broad daylight, so maybe?
Have yet to see a single horn in any of my port keys and I've opened a few (more 2s and 5s than 10s). None seen anywhere on the ground either although I have heard a friend finding one. Also have yet to see any dragons since DoD despite the weather indicating there should be some about. Looks like one more curse on the old luck.... Now where did I put my Felix felicis potion🤔🍀😅
Found one this morning in the wild on way to work! I almost didn't pick up (couldn't see what it was since i was zoomed out), but I'm working on that gold level ingredient achievement, so I try to pick up everything when i can. So that makes one from a portkey (out of about 10-16) and one in the wild.
I found about 6 on community day! I was ecstatic cos ive opened over 25 portkeys since it came out & not had a single one! Dragon claw seems to be disappearing from them too more in favour of very common ingredients like snowdrop & newt spleen. I seriously lose a little bit of my soul at the end of a portkey to see ive got 1 frogbrain & 2 dittany or somesuch!
Only thing that seems to have remained for me is the unicorn hair- ive over 50!! But darent delete any in case of an apocalypse in WU land where i might heavily need 50 potent! 😂
Please take common ingredients out of portkeys & just give us the ones we need for essential potions like the baruffio & potent exstimulo etc..esp dragon claw & erumpent horn seem to be like hen's teeth to find!
@AuroraKadavra although I found some erumpent horns during the event, I haven’t yet found any before or after it. Not even in the portkeys. Also, as you have ended up with a lot of unicorn hair, I’ve actually ended up with a lot of powdered dragon claw, not as many as your unicorn hair though, just 30. If only it was possible to trade, I would definitely trade some dragon claw for unicorn hair with people. Though as you said, even if it takes up space I wouldn’t dare delete it. Unfortunately I currently don’t have any leaping toadstools so I can’t even use it.

so during the Dragon event i scored some horns from a couple of portkeys, since then nothing from a portkey, and i opened plenty at least 16
this morning i recovered one from the map!
can only imagine that, at the moment, they are the rarest ingredient in the game

Full inventory of portkeys opened two days ago, no Horns. But common ingredients, yes.
Same. Opened a whole set of them (from 10km to 2km) and no horn yet. The ingredient seems to be extremely rare.

@Mommaof3crazy the only one i got from a portkey came from a 2km portkey. it was a single erumpent horn.
i found an erumpent horn on the ground on day of dragons, but deleted it because i did not realize at the time how hard to get they would be (d'oh).
for people who found them on the ground, did you note the weather, time of day, day of month?
Got a single erumpent horn from a 5km Portkey this evening. Not enough for a brew though...
I've opened over 20 Port keys THIS WEEK alone and not 1 Erumpent Horn. Only found 1 on the ground since it was released...

Just walked around my local Tesco and picked up 2 erumpent horns.

Found two on the map, none from portkeys. Weather : clear (day).
I got an erumpent horn in a 5km portkey. None in the last 10 2km portkeys. It is good to here they are out in the wild to pick up from the map.
