Does anyone know if the in game weather has any affect on the spawns of potion ingredients? For example, will toadstools spawn more when the weather is rainy?
You might be on to something. From what I can tell, weather or time of day doesn't seem to have very much of an influence on ingredient spawns. Toadstools are pretty rare though. I typically only see those after they've finished growing in a greenhouse. Spotting them in the wild is uncommon, for me anyway. The last time I did notice several wild toadstools, it was indeed cool and raining outside, and this was reflected in the in-app weather. The same is true for Horned Serpents in my region. They never appear unless it happens to be cool and raining at dawn or dusk, and the in-app weather must also say it's raining, which isn't always the case.
@JulieJubz I'm not sure about your wormwood theory as I just picked some up this morning. I haven't really paid attention to it before now, but now I'll start watching to see if I find more or if this morning was just a fluke.

Also, some people have noticed this before, but sometimes when you plant something on a green house, it almost immediately appears next to the green house as well. It's always been kind of a funny thing, but I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
@WerewolfChaser interesting. I actually find that one a lot. But I WISH I was something you find when werewolves and vampires were out and about. That would be such a fun creepy detail! haha
@JulieJubz Once I started paying attention I went a few days and didn't see any more wormwood, I thought maybe my previous post was just a fluke. Then yesterday I found it 4 or 5 times (different places, not near a greenhouse). I think like most everything else in the game, the randomness makes it seem like it comes and goes, but it's mostly just random.
@MtPollux actually, I saw it the other day too!! Completely in the middle of nowhere, but just one. SO I guess it's just rare, but that's it. No special timing.

I usually will find wormwood and other common ingredients shortly after planting them in greenhouses sometimes I will start to see the ingredient if I pick up its seeds. I've noticed if I run out of bitterroot it will spawn everywhere, but with re'eem blood if I run completely out of it I won't find it for a long time. Don't run out of re'eem blood.

I've been doing a terrible job in keeping an eye out for this. BUT... I think wormwood only shows up during full moons (for the most part anyway).
There's another two that seem to show up during full moons but I can't remember right now (I'm not a morning person, so brain half working, lol)

We had a thunderstorm Saturday and i didn't see any toadstools. On the full moon i did notice a few tho.
