I didn't know what category to put this in so General Questions it is.
I sincerely want to say how much I love this community. But I think I'm going to be leaving. With the haphazard implementation of moderation to the random unnecessary report flagging, I don't think this community is for me. I was hoping to hit 5 stars but I realize now that I really don't care too much. There are 2 of our moderators that I absolutely love. @HPWUMicah and @HPWULOLA . THey have been here and have been absolutely incredible. PLEASE know that you can count on them. They have shown time and time again that they will, in fact, get you an answer and escalate your query if needed.
I choose to not involve myself with toxic gaming communities. I will say that this is not one but I do see the signs. I have been a part of the gaming community since before internet literally existed (think 300 baud modem playing Trade Wars). I know a pattern. And I see that pattern resuming here. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I know I'm not.
I might pop in from time to time (for what it's worth) but I will no longer be as active as I have been because it seems that someone is trolling me and reporting pretty much every other post I make... just because.
I sincerely hope I've helped some of you. That was my absolute primary intent. I want people to enjoy the games they play. I want to help people when they're not enjoying. I want to bring smiles (and I'm not even a freaking HufflePuff). But it seems I only invoked ire.

@Craeft I’m really sad reading this. Have a feeling I know who your troll is and I really hate that anyone would be that petty on a community forum for a game.
Sounds like it’s pretty common (this is my first real gaming forum experience, just to throw that out there) unfortunately, but I want to sincerely thank you for all the wonderful advice and encouragement you have shown to players of all levels. You’ve been a great help to me in the last several weeks and I’ve always looked forward to reading your witty and comical posts. You will be greatly missed and I will look forward to you popping in every now and again. We need more people like you in this community! Wish you all the best with your new job and in your future @Craeft 💙
On another note, I hope to see changes implemented by mods as a result of this loss to the community. There has to be some type of reporting log where they can see when someone is antagonizing another user and repeatedly reporting or having negative interactions with them. I know that mods have had to close several threads due to the content and IMHO when one user is a common element of that so soon after the establishment of this community, they should be banned from the community. It is clear that the bad guy got his way in this scenario and I’m sad to see that nothing was done before it reached this point.
I think anyone who’s been around a while has a suspicion, but since we don’t have the info, I’m trying not to jump to conclusions. But it does seem that the mods/admins should be able to see who’s doing the flagging and if it is the same person repeatedly, and no one else, that’s an issue that needs to be addressed. It’s essentially bullying, and seriously, how petty do you have to be?! People should not be harassed. @Craeft do what you gotta do, but this sucks, plain and simple.

I know, we've had our differences and I was opposed to some of your ideas but I still consider them important and necessary. A debate requires two sides in order to work and I'm going to miss yours.
Oh man... I feel so bad, I had absolutely no idea this was going on. I am so very sorry abut this @Craeft! You're one of the coolest people in this forum, and I love the forum so dearly for all the love that goes around between the people posting. I might not have caught the fact that this has been happening to you, but I absolutely have caught on that there's been a small change coming, and that some posters really aren't trying to be nice, and that saddens me greatly.
I really hope that we can make it a better place again, and that if you stop by, you'll see it's good! But I totally understand your decision and I think it's good for you to do whats best for you, of course.
Take good care of yourself and we'll be thrilled to maybe see you drop by from time to time 🖤

@Craeft I know it's been said already, but I amongst many will be sad to see you go! You were a tremendous impact on the start of this community and had a lot of ideas and opinions which you expressed in such a manner that even I, quiet as I most often am, felt a need to answer and express my own opinions, with joy. Your discussions and comments made me and my thoughts and opinions feel welcome, for which I am grateful!
You'll be missed but I hope you the best, with everything you decide to do and your future!
