Seriously, having that brilliant event button on the map screen is incredible! Saves me so much trouble when checking up on what I need to complete challenges. ☺️
I'm interested to see if it stays there or not once the challenges are all completed. But even if it stays, I really don't feel like the screen is over crowded or anything.

I was just to post a similar thread. hehe... ya beat me to it.
Now I just need to get used to it being there and remember to use it instead of going into the typical achievments menu.
Agreed!! Also makes it clear there is an event happening. Perhaps when events overlap, we'll see 2 icons. Either way, nice update!

But yes! I keep going the wrong route and only remembering AFTER that the button exists! Haha
I'm glad you like that addition! Have you all also noticed that during trace encounters, the screen now displays how many fragments you currently have of that trace, ie 10/12. I find that super helpful because it motivates me to put more effort into fragments I have not completed! :D

That is probably my favorite addition.
My favourite is being able to have the phone stay active. Means I can do portkeys whilst doing a proper walk, and enjoy the scenery without having to constantly check my phone, and with setting the phone up before I set off, it makes the daily traffic jam out of the business park serve some purpose at least!
@KatherineSarah - I noticed that option too. That's very useful. However for porkeys, you could always leave it active by activating battery saver mode and turning it upside down. It drops the screen to a logo but still counts your distance. :)

@Craeft that didn't actually work for me. Whenever I kept it down like that, it would go to sleep after a while normally.

I’m going to chime in here and also state I love the event is showing up on the main screen. I know I’m ultra-active in the game, but I know some more casual players could use the reminder that the event is still going on.
For me, it’s a super easy one click method to see what I have left, so I am enjoying it. Great addition.
The button goes away once you complete the event.
Hah. I never used the button but now I want to try it out. To Titanium's point the thing disappears so I missed my chance.

I no longer remembered that button, maybe it was because when they put it on, I had already finished all the missions (I don't know what happened to me as in the Brilliant Event: Fantastic Flora and Fauna that I only have one mission left and I couldn't unlock the hat of wool and now it doesn't even show me locked).
The last 2 bright events had 2 parts, the previous one too, or only 1? How many bright events have there been? I only saw 3, because although I installed the game on June 22 I uninstalled it for 2 weeks (or almost 3) because I had no memory on my mobile and could only play via Wi-Fi because my mobile card was not worth it, so when I played I had to go out with 2 mobiles with one I played and with the other I gave internet connection, now I have already cut the sim card and I can go out and play for hours.
I would like to know how many bright events there were, and if they were repeated within a year (because I saw that the validity of the objects that are achieved in the bright events is only one year, not forever, although that does not put it ).
I wish I could complete all the things of the Game, since yesterday I could only get 2 parts of a single Dragon and I feel very sad and angry. After all the hours he dedicated to the game (he absorbed my life). If I lose a single day or an hour (like yesterday) I already run out of something.

Lola yes I like that now show how many fragments have, because before I always wondered how many I had left.
More than doing that motivates me to put more effort into fragments that I have not completed, what it does is to put less effort into those that I have already completed and more if I have little energy left and I have to reserve it for other fragments.
Although it also motivates me when I see some that I lack a few fragments to complete it.
What I have noticed for a long time is that some fragments cost me much more to get them now than when I got them the first time, and it is not because the page went up in prestige because the other fragments of the page appear with the same frequency as before.
