Why can I only use Baruffio potions?

I am a level 14 player and yet the only potion I can use is Baruffio's. What is the deal? When can I use my other potions? Is there something I am missing?

    you can use them any time you are casting spells (in challenges or confoundables). look for the potion bottle on screen when you are doing those

    Every time you see potion bottle icon in the bottom right of your screen, you can use any of the listed there
