How to Resolve the Trace Charm Fiasco

Here's a suggestion that will keep more people in the game, and you happy, after your flip flop fiasco on the Trace Charm.

1. Change the Trace Charm back to what was originally described, giving extra Foundables of equal or greater value to the original Foundable. And, make sure it works, including all the upgrades!

2. Drastically increase the number of Restricted Section Books and DADA books. Or, drastically decrease the number of books required for each task (or lesson). Most of us won't live long enough to complete the SoS Skill Trees (literally), with the huge numbers of books required, and with the puny number of books given out each month. And, if you're a beginning player, or want to start (or are in the middle of learning) another profession, how can you ever decide where to spend your measily 30 RSBs a month?

2. Increase the maximum Wizarding Level to 100. (Why did you stop it at 60, anyway?)

3. Add a Platinum Level to every page in the Exploration Registry.

4. Add Platinum Level Achievements.

4. *Get rid of the Brilliant Events. I've been playing regularly for 10 months, am at Level 49, and dread seeing those Brilliant Foundables. They just get in the way of finding things I really need. The only reason I play is to get the RSBs.

5. Create Family events, where we can work on specific pages to get them Prestiged. Similar to what you're currently doing with Community Days and Wizarding Weekends, but increasing traces for ALL rare Foundables in that Family or Page. For example, in the Wonders of the Wizarding World event, Grawp never showed up, so it was impossible to Prestige the page more than one level.

All of these changes would keep experienced and frustrated players in the game. Newer players would not be discouraged by not being able to progress. And, your revenue stream would continue and increase.

A WIN-WIN for everyone.
