It would be nice if the trace charm could be cast during an foundable interaction rather than just on the map.
I've had instances where I've hit the wrong trace. Others times I've checked what it was, backed out and the trace despawned before I could cast the spell. Lastly, traces don't always stay in the same spot after checking, so it may take several rechecks to ensure the right traces is selected.
All of this could be solved by allowing the trace charm to be cast while interacting with a trace, similar to how potions can be used.

This is a great idea. Pre-TC-nerf I checked on an emergency to see what it was and whether something I needed, came out to cast TC, and a bunch of yellow flares appeared (the emergency still showed as such) - went back in and the emergency was now a high too! I figured the foundables in the meantime had been switched around and the UI was behind a bit, but casting in-encounter would hopefully help with that too!
