Excessive red books and scrolls

#HPWULola, I have played HPWU for over a year, maxed out my profession, have over 7,000 scrolls and over 500 red spell books. I am not interested in another profession but wonder if there will be any future use for all of these items so diligently collected by myself and other long time players.

So. Much. THIS! Literally came here to say the same thing.
I have almost *11,000* scrolls & *400* red spell books, and the numbers grow daily. Yes, I could master another whole profession, but why?
How about giving us something useful for completing Daily Assignments, Event tasks & other activities - like Ministry Manuals, DADA Books & Restricted Section Books? When a *single* SOS training module can require 800+ MMs or 100 DADA Books, you doom your most dedicated & invested players to *years* of a tedious path to Mastery.
It's ridiculous the cost of some of the new SOS Training modules! They pitched it as being this cool new way of improving gameplay, but I was like you and had tons of scroll and books, but I have had a hard time being willing to "pay the price" for some of these new additions, especially those that I only need to purchase in order to get to others in the tree that I actually want! I have actually begun working on the other 2 professions since I had nothing else to do with all of my rewards for my effort. I thought it might be fun to do Wizard Challenges as a different profession sometimes. I wish they would alter the cost of the new SOS Training or give better rewards for things in-game to make it easier to complete the tree to your level.
I too am concerned about the excess collection of scrolls and red spell books.
For example we get 2 scrolls at day for making a potion and using a potion,
we get 5 scrolls when we go up a rank in the registry.
We get 2 red spell books when we go up a rank in challenges.
So if we will not be able to use the scrolls for continuing combat training.
(and even if we are we can get more)
Lets be able to trade in the excess scrolls and red spell books.
1 scroll = 1 Field Guide
5 scrolls = 1 Ministry Manual
5 red spell books = 1 Restricted Section Book
25 scrolls = 1 Restricted Section Book
25 red spell books = 1 DADA Book
50 scrolls = 1 DADA Book
This should not be a big deal to set up.
I've suggested a book exchange multiple times. I doubt it will ever happen. We really need a way to get event books, outside of events, sooner rather than later.
They seem to think that restricting progress through events keeps people playing, but in reality, it is just an annoyance to new players all the way up to veteran players.
The problem with everyone accumulating books is that if they offer new professions that require rsb and spell books then people will complete them relatively quickly unless they're insanely expensive. My guess is there will either be a new currency for the new profession (if we ever get them) or it'll be a combination of existing currencies that forces you to accumulate more before the tree is mastered. They want you to struggle while playing this game, not enjoy it. There's no way new lessons require mostly just scrolls and spell books.
