Open Brilliant Portkeys. Use adventure sync, if you can't move around too much. You can either run on exercise equipment or swing your phone back and forth in a pendulum motion to trigger KMs; in order to open the Portkeys. Check your game every 10 minutes and put in a new Portkey. Rewards will vary, but you can sometimes get over 50 Brilliant xp from one Portkey.
Agreed with @bentiger. @logomiek portkeys are the best option. You can also fortress on the Knight bus on the higher chambers which does give you a better chance to get the nearly headless nick fragment. If your spawn rate is low and your movement is very restricted.
I have opened many portkeys and STILL NOT AT 300!!!! Two days and over 10 portkeys. Doing a knight bus challenge doesn't get my First year XP even when I use those runestones. IT should not be this hard. I've used over 10 silver keys to help open up portkeys faster. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! So many portkeys I've gotten 0 XP from.

I finally hit enough purple event foundables to hit 300. Of course, the 4 portkeys I just opened, well after I needed them, got me over 100 XP! UGH!
