Is there a way to "group up" for Knight Bus fights?

I was curious if there is a way, or if someone has already put into place groups that meet up for Knight Bus group fights? I know that during events, especially those that require you to complete wizarding challenges in your highest chambers, which, lets be honest, are much easier if you have a good, solid group of players, it would be easier to complete if groups could connect to play. I just completed this assignment for the SOS, but it took three tries before I found a group that didn't just jump ship once the game started. (I assume people do this in hopes that the people left will fight and they will get credit.) I hate losing good runestones because people want to be bad players.

@Kstev19 It's possible to find friends from your friends list on the knight bus. A lot of players use discord groups to communicate and coordinate.
Why can't we use an already developed Niantic feature?
It is called "Invite friends".
