Hi everyone! @hpwulola @HPWURiver

The following feedback has been collected from various international HPWU communities regarding the August Events. (Its a slightly long post) but, I've decided to read through them and make this post for the community in hope that the feedback can be used in a positive and constructive way.

August Community Day

-Community Day has been enjoyable however many players had found that the event tasks could be completed much to quickly, even though the event should have been a 24h event.

- A good suggestion brought forward was to make fortress task requirements a bit more challenging.

Such as: instead of "Take the Knight Bus and win a Wizarding challenge in Ruins II" it could be more interactive by changing it to "Defeat 5 foes in Ruins Chamber III" or "Use 3 Hexes/ Charms on foes or teammates while in Forrest IV" for an example.

-Another suggestion is that a variety of energy gifts and runestones should be dropped from fortresses as this can give players a opportunity to help friends in more rural areas.

-Community Day is a way to connect players together. We believe that the above changes can inspire the idea of coming together and 'Uniting Wizards ' by being more inclusive of their needs.

August Wizarding Weekend

We agree WW had a number of technical glitches and we hope that a permanent solution can be put into place as soon as possible . This affects us in a number of ways:

- Players organize private Dark Detector events with local communities and groups unable to play.

- Online Coordinated Fortressing gets hindered.

- Extending Wizarding Weekend due to glitches are not catering for all timezones. Many of the EMEA regions are still in lockdown and many have strict curfews in place.

-For the actual event, many felt the difficulty was appropriate but the event rewards had been a bit lacking.

-Many players had reported that WOWW spawns were not increased. Many players reported that the Puking Pastilles and The Weasley Car have a frustratingly low spawn rate.

August Brilliant Events.

Part 1.

In general, a majority of players feel that the Brilliant Events are somewhat repetitive and boring.

-The recent BE felt harder than the previous events and needed to give a little more Brilliant Event Wizarding XP for runestones.

-There has been frustration that tonics gave very few BE spawns.

- Numerous amounts of players complained that the BE contained 'Too much randomness'

Placing foundables for task 4 caused a lot of annoyance and it felt really badly mixed together and unbalanced. Many players would really like to have thr details for the event alot earlier to prepare.

Part 2:

Thank you for fixing the reset on task 2/3 so quickly. We appreciate how efficiently it was resolved!

- The mix up with the event tasks has caused quite a bit of annoyance.

- BE spawns are still very low for many players

- Players are reporting that the BE family xp task on 3/4 is troublesome. Collecting 300xp feels correct however the lack of spawns and the lack of family xp recieved are much too low, and either of the two needs to be increased.

Conclusion

The majority of the players feel that the events are too cramped together and are highly overwhelming. There needs to be some space for us to plan ahead and organize the events better with our local communities.

We have also noticed that details for the events come though on a short notice and we dont have time to prepare for this, this affect rural playersas well. Mass amounts of the community appreciate the easy to read infographics such as the ones posted by Orange Wizard- We would really like this to be posted earlier and the events be better spread out.

The Brilliant Event could do with changes, as we don't see much change or anything 'grand' with them.

Other major concerns is the bugs, which leaves many players reluctant to play Wizards Unite as a whole.

I really hope this feedback is considered and it used constructively in the future.

Many thanks,

Sigyn (AltarielValice )

I'm thinking Feature Requests might have been a better place for this post. @HPWUblue can you move? TIA

I agree with a lot of it, but I don't agree with needing more time to prepare. I think it would be better if the tasks were of the type that you can't prepare for. That makes it more equal between those who are active on forums and those who aren't...

The 300 xp isn't that bad if you fortress, you get 10 xp if you get the foundable, and if you open portkeys, you can really get a lot from those. Also if you don't place the sticker you get 4 xp from each one instead of 3 xp when returning from the map.

Thanks for putting this together. I was just thinking how bored I'm getting with all the BEs. There's no evolution in the game and it feels like too much of the same with the BEs. Part 1, part 2. Rinse, repeat. Also knowing more sooner to prep for the later tasks of the BEs would be so helpful, especially to people in areas without a lot of landmarks and easily found foundables. At least mix it up every couple of months with a two week master event with 6 tasks and give people a break. The current format just feels too formulaic.

@hpwulola thanks for taking this into consideration! I really do hope it helps the WB team and you guys can implement changes that improves gameplay that the playerbase will be content with. :)
