Can we get more books?

I’ve been playing since WU started. I don’t pay actual money to earn anything in the game. I rely solely on the daily gifts for my accrual of gold. That being said, I only recently finished the Magizoology tree and started the Professor bc I have well over 3k scrolls. NOT having books (all of them) has kept me from progressing. Can we PLEASE earn more books instead of scrolls? Or at least at the same rate?

I'm still hoping they increase them and I believe Lola said they are trying to include them more in events. I'm still pretty satisfied with scrolls, but I'm trying to max out one or both of the two remaining professions
I would rather have field guides over scrolls and books any time.
Daily awards need to be updated!

There are skills in the S.O.S. tree to earn additional Spell Books as well as Extravagant Runestone gifts to send Spell Books to your friends. Higher level fortress challenges are still the fastest way to earn Spell Books, though.
Field Guides and S.O.S. Manuals will become just like scrolls, as well. There are already many of us with over 30k for our S.O.S. scores that have little use for guides and manuals, already.
Restricted Section Books and Defense Against the Dark Arts Books are what everyone really still needs more of.
@Lexstra I think the question really is "what is progress?". Don't forget that there will be more lesson plans for the Magi. So you need to keep that in mind before you start spending resources.
