Oh my gosh @hpwulola so exciting! Have a goos rest of your week and weekend. Yay!
hoping for dragons for september. maybe another month then. 🤨
Thanks but I hope something related to dragons (all 4 dragons...)...
Maybe we'll get a dragon weekend for Halloween? I really want to work on those oddities pages
PLEASE offer a dragon weekend with ALL dragons! Also, please some sort of event to collect foundables from brilliant events we missed!!
Please consider doing another Dragon event.
@Snarkabadger if you want dragon event, be patinent for next month.
@Kodokmag dragon event only in October. Before waiting for new foundables, why go other play one, example is Pokemon Go...
@Yohanes12 i play pogo little by little, now level 28 and no friend, little sad me
😵🙊🙇
@Kodokmag how about pogo just send gift? Looks like run out too.
@Yohanes12 What makes you say that there will be a dragon event in October? Wizard Fest and dragon events were in September last year. October was Basilisk and witches in the Fortresses with Dark Arts related other events.
Ok I just read this post and if I’m not mistaken I see that later in Sept there will be an event featuring (brilliant) Harry Potter....I really hope this means a bunch of Young Harry Potters from legends of Hogwarts page will also appear in the map.
Fingers crossed :D :D :D
Also I’m very content to be appeased by this dragons surprise event although I certainly understand why people are irate about the trace charm “fix” and misdirection. Here’s hoping for those Young Harry Potters to show up later this month...
I'm sure you don't want to hear this here, but you closed the other Trace Charm thread, which I don't think is fair. Everyone should be able to tell you how they feel about it and I can't... there. So here's my comment on the subject... you all screwed up. You know it and I don't think you have held yourselves accountable, at least to us, the players. Maybe you have something you are working on, maybe not, you haven't said anything other than there is a dragon week and you are all taking a week off , which no one would think anything about, except you are doing at a time when, well, you screwed up and haven't come up with an acceptable response/reaction. This is a terrible way to treat your consumers, who pay a pretty penny to play the game. I also don't buy into the comments where people are so freaking understanding. No one is okay with what happened. No one! So, enjoy your time off, but come back with better ethics over this issue. Please.
Battle themed brilliant events should be oddities isnt it?
If brilliant oddities traces could be like fortress challenge, that would be awesome. Maybe at tower level difficulty?
Any hints on the October calendar? I wanna start collecting the right fortress fragments in advance 💪☺️
I wonder if we’ll have another Halloween Event?
Is there an event calendar for October 2020?
October will be a month of dragons! Or that’s my wish!
@BocaG they just gave us dragons
Can’t see them repeating it so soon.
Great idea though!
month of halloween...
maybe darkarts family or wonder of wizarding world, or maybe Oddities 1 (the one with vampire and werewolf)
@LegendaryMama A week off? What?
THEY WORK FROM HOME since Covid!!
@WitchHiker Working from home is still working...
@LegendaryMama Players aren't required to "pay a pretty penny to play the game". It's a free mobile app. While I think the communication has been horrible, it is completely ridiculous to paint this as a situation where customers are paying hard earned money and not seeing the quality reflected by the price of entry. It's free. If the game exists they've covered your cost of admission.
Sorry @Attrition , I agree with @LegendaryMama and the other 99.9...%
Given how the game has not progressed well since “they started working from home”, I still have to say I feel they’ve been in ‘vacay’ more since 3/2020!
@WitchHiker While I agree that the game, and more particularly the communication with the players, has had some major problems, it doesn't give players the right to make up a narrative where they are paying a subscription fee and not getting the product they're paying for.
And it certainly doesn't give you the right to imply that working from home isn't working, especially when it is very likely more work, and more difficult. Your comments come off as rude and self centered at best, and you need to grow up. If you're a child, then I'm sorry, but it's about time someone has spoken to you this way. If you're an adult, I'm not at all sorry, and I sincerely hope you someday come to recognize that the world is bigger than you.
@WitchHiker No. You do not get to play victim here. There are many faults in the game, and you could have addressed any of them. But to come in here attacking the people who made the game at a personal level is inappropriate. You have no idea what their working situation is, and you have no idea what the safety concerns are in their locality.
This is the team that has, due to the pandemic, added the Knight Bus, altered the game to include energy on the ground to accommodate people that were quarantined, revamped entire events to allow people who were home bound to find some relief in a game they enjoyed, and all the while continued to create new events and release new content.
Yes, the content is buggy, there are massive communication problems, and these things are frustrating, and there is nothing wrong with expressing that frustration. There is, however, something completely wrong with accusing people who have been working, and continue to work, to provide you a free game to play with being "on vacation" just because they aren't in the office. There is a global pandemic, and it is extremely disrespectful of you to minimize that fact to personally attack people who are indisputably and observably working. Instead of coming back with what you may think is a witty retort, a simple apology would be sufficient.
@Attrition
Dude-not playing victim!
Just staying the truth as did @LegendaryMama
I feel sorry for whatever you’re going through as it’s clear you need an avenue to vent.
@HPWUTeam , are you feeling attacked or singled out?
@WitchHiker And now the deflection, as though the problem here is me. The problem is your unwillingness to accept that your comments are offensive. All you have to do is apologize and be more mindful of directing your criticisms towards the aspects of the game that are upsetting you and not to the people who are working, whether or not you believe working from home is a "vacay".
A person of character would have no problem offering up a simple apology for stepping over the boundaries of basic civility, but you instead chose some inane comment about my username and followed up by claiming that your personal attack is just "the truth" and insinuating that the issue here is me.
Look, people make mistakes. You're frustrated, you're venting, whatever. But when you get called out, and rightfully so, for being inappropriate, a mature adult simply acknowledges the error and apologizes instead of doubling and tripling down. Again, please grow up.
@BenTiger Dudley Dogooder? That’s ridiculous. I’ve been highly critical of the many mistakes that have been made, and especially of the atrocious communication that has come down about them all. I got into an argument with the developers when they dismissed my data about one instance in particular.
However, there is no “valid point” when someone is claiming, with zero evidence, that the people working from home are just on vacation. It is offensive to all of the people that are adapting to the reality of a global pandemic. It’s a baseless personal attack that has no place here and is completely indefensible. You’re welcome to **** right out.
@Attrition His comments were not a direct attack. You just took it that way and chose to start an argument. Their productivity has taken a sharp decline and their attempts at bug fixes have led to even more bugs, driving the game into a spiral of decline. This may be due to them having a more difficult time to effectively communicate, due to not working from a common office.
Players have a right to vent some of their frustrations.
It is not your assigned job to start arguments, just because you interpret comments as attacks. This is what I am referring to as a Dudley Dogooder. That is not someone who always tries to do good, but someone who often misinterprets things a lot worse than they are and tries to blow things out of proportion, causing a large drawn out argument. Much like what you are doing here.
Go ahead and try to draw it out more if that is what you feel like you must do. This is my last comment on your pointless argument.
@BenTiger Accusing people who are working from home due to the health concerns of a global pandemic of “being on vacation” is absolutely a direct personal attack. I have no problem with criticisms of the game and the communications the players have received. Those are entirely warranted. It is entirely unwarranted to go after the people for working from home, when it probably isn’t necessarily their choice, probably involves making more work, and probably makes the work more difficult. It’s basic human decency to not imply that one’s recreation in a free mobile app takes precedence over people’s personal health and safety.
Calling people out for bad behavior isn’t pointless, but I’m happy that you’ll be minding your own business and not attempting to justify or defend objectively bad behavior more than you already have.
I'd like to ask about October events. Will there be any announcements soon?
