This is hardly a new problem position but its about time something gets done about it.

Ive already stopped trying to join or create a higher lvl game in Night Bus because theres sadly to many players who joins and dont even bother to take down the spawns, use a single energy or even throw a single heal or spell.

This is not a fenomen for the higher lvls, it seems to be an overall problem.

Im 100% sure im not the only one who feels this way...

I had hopes that given the "experience lvl" is now shown to all players before entering a game would sort out those who free-leech but its far from the truth.

This problem spessaly accour when its an event, belive its people who only has the joining requirements in Energy. They know if they spend one energy they wont be able to join more games. Its more easy to make decision to free leech in order to complete what ever part/event.

Im not a "free player", I spend hard earn money on energy cap ect. but it DOSENT mean I want to carry other players weigh.

Of cource, people can be distracted with an urgent phone call or something else but it seems to be abit more than that so I want to propose a kind of Knight Bus ban system of some kind.

One thought is that you get a temp ban on 10-20mins if you dont use any energy and/or **** some spawns, after that you perhaps will get 2h ban and if you dont get the message by then, 24h ban.

I really prey you guys will sort this out so people who carry their weight can "safely" invest a high lvl rune, elixirs, time and energy on a high lvl chamber and expect that thers no FREE LEECHERS.

Thx

What I started doing is watching to see if people enter the chamber but are not attentive to the fact that everyone else has joined and simply wait for the timer to time out. If everyone else had joined, but one player isn't joining, I give them fifteen seconds then jump out. Freeloaders just jump and don't even seem to watch their screen. Also if I see a Freeloader I will fight a couple characters then stop. I will let the time run out rather than reward a freeloader. If everyone started doing that freeloaders would get nothing.

@ChercherPM I understand the approach you’re taking. That being said, there are often glitches that cause people to look like they’re freeloading when they’re not. Let’s say there are 2 people with your approach that end up in the chamber together. Player X gets the error that causes them to reboot the game. Player Y thinks Player X is freeloading, so Player Y stops playing to teach Player X a lesson. By the time Player X gets back in the game, they see that Player Y appears to be freeloading, so then Player X stops playing to teach Player Y a lesson... All this ends up doing is frustrating Players A, B, and C, Plus X&Y. And is just the result of a glitch in the game (or inopportune phone call, crying kid, or phone dropped in a bathtub), not someone being selfish.

My approach is to give the player the benefit of the doubt. Life happens. BUT that being said, if I see them do absolutely NOTHING in the chamber, I make a mental note of their name. When we leave that battle and head back to the lobby, if they pop up immediately, it tells me that they were present enough to know the battle ended and to jump into the next one. When I see people do that, I leave the lobby. I just won’t play with them again.

Of course, I’m also not tempted to blast through a bunch of potions on a losing battle for idle players. If we lose, we lose. I give it my best without jeopardizing my good resources.

I do hope they’ll have some way to enforce in-game accountability soon, though.

Place skill restrictions on tower rooms and change the Events that require players to finish DC5.

Contribute nothing, you get no credit and lose a rune stone.

Have a goblin 'rob' you of 10 gold, or a potion. "Since you were not paying attention"

Each successive offense, like @NoneStop suggests, results in an increasingly long ban from the Bus.

More than 24-hours, so you lose your daily achievements.

Fix the code so it works properly and players are not booted.

It needs to be more than one, within a certain time frame to distinguish from those who simply got a important phone call etc.
