Witches and Wizards,
Help return Brilliant Foundables from Hogwarts during Part 2 of the First Year at Hogwarts Brilliant Event, starting Tuesday, August 25 at 11 a.m. PT.
The Brilliant Foundables featured during this event can be found in the following locations:
- Nearly Headless Nick - Wizarding Challenges
- Professor Slughorn - Brilliant Portkey
- Professor Trelawney - Tasks
- Brilliant Professor Sprout - Encounter
- Brilliant Professor Flitwick - Encounter
Brilliant Portkeys for this event will be 1.5km. As a reminder, Part 1 Portkeys will give you Part 1 rewards anytime you open them, even if you wait to open them during Part 2.
Don’t forget to pick up your complimentary store pack which will contain the following:
- 6x Baneberry
- 4x Bulbadox Juice
- 4x Angels Trumpet
- 2x Erumpent Horn
- 25 Spell Energy
Keep an eye out for Bonus Assignments that will be available in game after the main tasks have been completed.

Suddenly my app crashed and now it won’t open. It’s been an hour. I restarted my phone but nothing is working
I just noticed that I have not seen one Brilliant trace nor port key this whole event. I used tons of trace tonic and fought tons of battles and nothing. Not even Brilliant characters!
@Iwanttoplayalso the next brilliant event doesn't start until Tuesday August 25. The current Wizarding Weekend event doesn't include any brilliant traces or special portkeys.

Oooh mysterious note pieces. Are we finally seeing some more mystery pages being added?
By collecting 5 Brilliant Professor Sprout foundables and the reward for task set one, that should almost be enough to collect 2 runestones without doing anything in task set two.
UPDATE: There currently is an error with Task List 3. We are looking into fixing this task now.
So I just made it to step 3 in the event, and instead of 200 Hogwarts School Family XP, it was return 200 Hogwarts School Family Foundables. Is this a bug, because I waited to place 2 hogwarts school images to immediately finish it, and then I got nothing from it
It would be nice to see a brilliant portkey and even 1 professor sprout

I had the same problem as robobear4 - Step 3 of event wants 200 foundables!
They screwed something up?? *shocked*
Not a single professor sprout anywhere, even using tonic for trace detection. Loads of professor flitwick. What’s going on?
3hrs in and one hogwarts foundable so far - even using TTD? ANyone have better success - getting 7 hard enough... 200 ??!

4hrs, 2 TTD and still only one hogwarts foundable?!
Note: There is a visual error with the ‘Mysterious Notes’ that are needed in Task List 4. The rewards summary is incorrectly displaying them as a Mysterious Artefacts Family Icon. These are the ‘Mysterious Notes’ and will count towards the task ’Collect 10 Mysterious Note Pieces.
@hpwulola I am getting mostly WoWW traces from Tonics, rather than Hogwarts School. Just a thought, but is it still set to the setting it had for the weekend?
5 hrs 13 mins in, and I've had one brilliant foundable. What gives? Tonic for Trace isn't popping anything either. What am I missing?
Is the second task in the 3rd set supposed to be 30 foundables or 200 family xp? I tried refreshing my app and it still has 30 foundables
It was showing 'Collect 200 Hogwarts Family Foundables' before @RabbeinuTam, but It has been updated to 'Collect 30 Hogwarts Family Foundables'. Good luck!
