Masterful Casts don't always get you Foundables

I noticed this when I had cast 3-4 masterful casts on a foundable and yet the **** thing would resist. So I manipulate my finger tracing so it delivers great/good/fair respectively (tracing them one after one to see which one works) on the scale. Most of the time I get it because I feel some of them are rigged to come only when a particular spell is cast which is not necessarily masterful.
