Game crashing - profile picture

sorry if this is not new but i dont have time to check the whole forum for it. Honestly, this is something that should be solved by the opening of a ticket/incident for the responsible support team, not a forum. But whatever, i was dragged here, so here we go: the game is crashing when i try to change my profile picture. EVERY-TIME! When searching for the issue resolution on google I could only find other players complaining about the same issue since April 2020! We’re in August!! Cant you really fix some simple issue like this? This is ridiculous! Pokemon Go support is way better and that means something! Please fix this and try to respect the few players that make this game still breathing in 2020!

Wow, do you really think that coming in here to insult the staff and put down the game will get your issue resolved any faster than just plainly and politely stating your case?
For what it's worth, this is a known issue that I believe is triggered by having animated items in your profile pic. I'd find you a link to the post, but I don't have time to look it up either.
I'm having the same issue and I do not have any animation in my profile picture.
its a long standing issue for almost a year now.
@MtPollux he didnt insult them, they are not responsible. This is fact. This has been an issue since summer of 2019. No, a responsible team would have fixed this since then.
