AR photo's availability

Hi,

When I browse through my registry, I noticed that some characters have an animated camera icon. I also noticed that this feature (take AR photo of the character in question) is absolutely awesome! This because of the many animations the character has, but mostly because you can place the character where you want them, and use zoom to get the perfect photo. It also looks great without AR core.

I was wondering: does anyone know why only some characters (like Luna) have this icon? Is it something you have to earn, or could it be work in progress?

I hope Niantic continues to put effort in this great feature, it has the power to reach potential new players through social media.

    I saw on Twitter that niantic help just said that ohmy a few per family have that option, but didn't mention if the others will later or not.

    I think it would be cool if allí of them allowed for a photo mode. Especially if you can survey the scenes.
