Somehow, I’m already ranked 16 levels and prestiged both events and they haven’t started yet. Another bug in the system?

It's not a bug... You already participated in part 1. It used to be 100 exp per level, but they adjusted it down to 40, so you may have received extra prestige levels, when they adjusted it.
Same to me. Dunno what happened but this morning i got red dot in registry and it has a red dot on an active brilliant registry for flora and fauna (! Sign). And level 16 like that too, also in the vault also have flora and fauna runestone (i used it all up befor for collecting challenge fragment)
Ok, just saw that it’s a continuation from last year, but technically it doesn’t “start” until tomorrow. I don’t remember it being prestiged either. also I got two runes, out of nowhere. I used them in case it was a bug.
@Alfredschultz that page was the 1st ever Brilliant Event, as the games enters year 2 they are bringing it back with a 2nd part and a chance to finish part 1.

In regards to the runestones, i currently am up to 45 (would be higher but have used quite a few) because of how easy it is to level up due to the part 1 fragments giving 50xp and thereby maxing to level 65+
@Cat05bird the SOS manuals for images only apply to the regular families (Care of Magical Creatures, Dark Mark, Hogwarts School etc.), not the Brilliant Events
Bonus assignment does not show up after completing Part 1. Restarting game and even rebooting phone Does not help. No response to bug report
My bonus appeared and worked fine. Same as every friend that I know who is at or completed with the bonus. @SageBirch You may want to open an in-game support ticket, if your bonus quest will not appear. It usually takes closing out and re-opening your Special assignment page to get it to show up.
For some reason I don't or can't get the acromantula. What do I need to do? I have completed everything plus the bonus. Any suggestions?
