Thoughts after playing the game since US release
So far, I love the game. I haven’t missed a day of Pokémon Go in 2 years until this game released. I do think game could use a little rework. In my area Inns are pretty scarce, especially compared to the number of greenhouses. I would like more inns placed, especially near fortresses. The fact that you need spell energy to battle in fortresses creates a huge need for an increased number of inns and acquiring spell energy.
Since most potion ingredients are fairly common, I have little to no use for greenhouses. I don’t have the time to grow, add spell energy (which honestly should be water, and NOT spell energy) and maintain what time I need to harvest. The game already sends me notifications when potions are ready, I know it could be done for greenhouses too. Also, a list or marker somewhere, possibly a mischief map that locates which greenhouse you dropped seeds into. Also, if the goal is to grow plants communally, again, i think it should be with water, any person who adds water to increase the drop rate should get a notification too.
I would very much like to be able to touch through the animation sequence once a spell has been successful, the amount of time it takes is maddening once you’ve caught hundreds of the same thing or you want to catch additional confoundables before they disappear.
Once you start getting to higher levels scrolls become a bit more scarce, I’d like to see a small increase in drop rate for leveling up. As you climb you get better rewards, even if it’s a drop increase of say 2 scrolls per each 5 levels.
Brilliant events, once you have placed all the fragments there is little to gain when continuing to catch challenging, energy consuming confoundables. At least drop a restricted book for ranking up when people continue to catch the brilliants.
Confirmation buttons when you are about to drop coins on spell energy, I know of several players who have accidentally bought spell energy at the high cost of 100 coins.
If there is a high density of counfoundables in one place and I click through them, when I exit, their location drifts which is a bit of challenge when you are checking many. Better yet, allow a mark somewhere on the badge that you have already opened it once you’ve clicked out of it.
Runestones are still a bit of a mystery at this point, maybe a tutorial on rewards would be helpful.
Larger increases in spell energy storage, instead of 10, at least a 20 spot increase.
