Please help us out and extend the event; it might have been ideal for niantic to know that on the same weekend as this event they were also running a pokeman event that was going to be attended by a lot of players; perhaps they could have sold advance tickets to the pokeman event so they would have known that their servers might be quite busy? Anyway please help us helpless potterheads out
I’ve been quite lucky in that I’ve only just got locked out so I completed most of the tasks already. Who knows when I’ll get back in to finish though.
Please extend! I was out for like 12 hours. My bf is going on 24. He is just back into the game and was super excited for his first event. We were enjoying it so much before the game shut down!
@Caeleon On the one hand, by then it will have been going on five days so that SHOULD be plenty of time. On the other hand, if they can't fix it by then then there's something very very wrong going on behind the scenes/with the entire game. This has never gone on this long but then again we've had so many assets to download the past week or so. Either way, I'm already not confident with the already ongoing wait and the fact that they now have said we won't get another update until Monday and they're already throwing around apology pack as a 'resolution' 🙄

How about for the previous Brilliant event? Suddenly the day before the update I had the same issue about not being able to log in at all as most of these people did for this event (and I know there were others too who had the same issue) so I missed out on finishing my bonus tasks and more for that event. I was able to finally get back on after a week just when these players began to have issues and now I had none. Will there be an extension of those of us who missed out on the Brilliant event? I've had no issues with this one and already finished all the tasks. I think it's only fair.
Virtually no Albums Dumbledore formidables about to complete the challenge. but holding events at the same time as go fest reduced the hours of possible play and would have been made better on a different weekend to Pokémon go events.
Such a shame. I've just spent 2 hours with 4 traces to get 1 Albus . Such a let down

I was able to play a bit yesterday but can’t log in at all now. Too bad I couldn’t play while at the park today as planned😟

An extension of the event is the LEAST they can do. It has been about 24 hours for me now.
But it’s ok Niantic! At least I received your email telling me your merchandise shop was online now!
How about you go fix the effing game before you try to flog stuff to us yeah?

12 hours Niantic? 12 hours while the UK are asleep??? How is this fair when many lost 24 hours? 😡 needs to be 24 hours.
I hope they either decide to extend or postpone the event and hold it once they solve all the problems with the app.
I haven't played since moved back to level 1 from LEVEL 32 or 33. Got no reply from support. Tried suggestions from community. Finally removed game.
