A few tips and tricks to make the game a little less annoying

•Go to settings and turn off "map camera idle"
-This prevents the map from turning slightly as you move
•Turn AR+ off (also in settings)
-AR+ can be neat but also very finicky. I've been kicked out of Portkeys numerous times while standing completely still. Turning AR+ off means you can enter Portkeys while moving without risk of being kicked out for moving away from the area
•Speed up your potion brewing by 15%
-On the cauldron page (while brewing a potion) tap the handle of the wooden spoon. This will take you closer to the cauldron where you can enter a series of swipes and taps (each potion has a different combination) that will reduce brewing time.
-Once you've brewed 3 of the same potion the combination of swipes will be shown at the top so you don't have to try to remember it.
•Follow the red dot to clear it
-The red notification dot can be a nuisance, following it through sub-menus works most of the time but sometimes it can get lost.
The most common area is your profile in the bottom left corner. Click it and click your profile picture, then click "stock" along the bottom of the screen.
Select any image from that page and it will take you to a new page with some icons on the left side of the screen. If you haven't been able to clear the red dot from your profile picture, clicking on these should do the trick.
•Prestige your Foundable page
-Once you've collected all the Foundables on one page, you should be able to prestige it by pressing a button under the treasure trunk to the right of the page name. (It only appears when you've collected them all for that page
-Prestiging your Foundables page increases the amount of XP you get for collecting them and changes the color of the border.

@Cassasauresrex that seems more like bug abuse to me though. Wouldn't recommend that because you may get banned.
If you have room on your phone, download assets while on wifi to reduce the amount of data you consume while playing.

Apparently it still works and it's still impossible to get by actually going to a different country. At this point, I think too many people have done it to start dishing out bans
Thanks for the tip on the camera map ideal toggle @5peedie. I have always hated that and wondered why my iPad didn’t have that “feature.”
If you do a fortress challenge before you've opened up your daily tasks list for the day, you don't seem to get credit for doing the challenge.
That’s the sameness with collecting an ingredient from the map.

open daily tasks first thing each day, as anything you do beforehand won’t count.
Today I didn't open dialy task list and it still record my progress.

Can somebody throw a girl a bone here & tell me what the swipes are for the potions please? Iv been doing all sorts, jumping up & down with phone 😂 i cant get the combo for even the first one im brewing!
Such an awesome tip about the camera!
On the potions page, at the top, tap the "i" in the circle next to the word "potions." That brings up a page with the list of most of the potion brewing motions. Once you get the first one, you have to keep trying others to get all three. You also have to remember the order until you have all three and then it will remember it for you. Hope this helps!

The daily tasks not counting until you've opened the list up each day should have been fixed in the last update. If it's still not working for you, I'd check to make sure your app is currently up-to-date.
There are websites containing lists of the potion swipes, just ask Google ;)
At Inns if you exit out after tracing for spell energy, you should receive the spell energy without having to watch the animation.
Wizardsunitehub has a list of all of the potion brewing motions, just FYI. (Can't post the direct link here but if you google it's right at the top of results.)
You get credit for visiting inns even if you are at max spell energy and can't get any more. So still worth visiting them :)
Oh, and turning on Trace Auto-Align in settings makes it much easier to latch onto foundables in traces.

Thank you for the “stock” tip by the photos! It was driving me CRAZY that I couldn’t get rid of that red dot without taking a new photo all the time 🤣
