For error pop-up during challenge

I was in a challenge the other day with a full team, via the knight bus, and in the middle of me casting a
spell against a foe I received this error pop-up:
this was mid-trace of the spell. I confirmed and was placed back into the game in the middle of the animation indicating defeat of the foe. The game resumed as normal without any issues.
has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, happens to me quite a bit. Tends to be a connection error, by the looks of things. Like you say, mildly irritating but doesn't impact anything.
