Wizarding challenge in your highest chamber

Hi. The bonus part of the current event is bugged. The task of "complete 1 wizarding challenges in your highest chamber unlockes" wont get completed... I have won 2 chamber (dark chamber 2, which is currently the highest chamber unlocked for me atm) and the task is still not completed... This would be the last task of the bonus assignments and i could get the reward.. but its bugged so i dont get anything... Fix it pls asap and deliver the reward for i worked for!!!!

@Szimarine are you sure you are doing the highest unlocked? there are no other chambers higher than that? locked ones have a padlock on them. you want to do the highest chamber you have even if it shows the recommended level in red
Same, I didn’t get the bonus even though i did the highest chamber, what a waste of spells and potions 😑
I’ve just done chamber 13 my highest and it hasn’t registered, I’m so upset, I’ve used all potions and no time to brew more !! Very unfair.
Now means I can’t complete the challenge!
@Kitzen , yes, i am sure. My grade is atm 13, and the highest chamber that is unlocked for me is the Dark chamber II. The next (Dark III) is red and i can not even join to it, because it requires grade 14... so...
And yes, i completed it 2 times in a row (both was a win!!) and waste of potion, energy time, etc.. for nothing.. :c
Be careful @Szimarine, it doesn’t require level 14, it just recommends it. Just because it’s red doesn’t mean you can’t enter it. The only way you cannot enter a chamber is if you have not beaten the previous chamber. For example, you’ll never be able to enter Dark II until you successfully complete Dark I. But you can do that no matter your level.
@Szimarine Do try and tap Dark III and see if you can get in. For me as an auror, I can access all the way to Dark V, even though I am Level 12. They still show red though.
I’ve completed this task twice. Used all potions. Hasn’t registered. I’m level 42. Very annoying.
@bennet71 what level have you been completing? Others have had some confusion between their highest unlocked level and their highest recommended level.
Ok, I’m confused now. Done the baby animals tasks, got the bonus tasks. Gone to highest chamber to get a single challenge. DarkIV. Zapped 2 creatures. Didn’t get the challenge bonus again. The chamber was unlocked (14) and as a Professor I’m 14. Do as anyone think this may be because I’ve completed being an Auror? Maybe I should switch and give it a go as that.? Very annoying as you bin so many potions.
dont mind the RED recommendation word, look for chamber without Lock. if all chamber is without lock then go to highest chamber there is (Dark V).
if your first profession had unlock the highest chamber (Dark V) then other profession in your account will unlock that Dark V.
right?
Just switched back to Auror (14 ) and I’m offered Dark IV . No red warnings- the same as when I was Wizard.
Dark V is not visible (complete the previous chamber to unlock)
I think I’m doing it right.

Perhaps I should try highest completed chamber. In my case Dark III?
you have to defeat it (win) not just zap random foe and wait for counter time to expire
Tried to do the highest wizarding challenge which is open for me to challenge even if it is highlighted in red using a level 5 runestone with 5 players tackling the challenge.. hope this gives you an idea what to do to achieve the special assignment.
@bennet71 So I am maxed auror, but lvl 14 MZ. In either case I have played all the way through d5 in auror. This means I have unlocked all the chambers and even if I tried playing as a professor (lvl 1) I would have my highest chamber be D5. In the image above I don't have a little lock icon on any chamber. So look for the lock. No lock, you opened that chamber even if it is higher than recommended play.
Keep in mind all those talking about it saying recommended Grade (level) in red that there is also currently a glitch in that Dark V is showing in RED even if you ARE aL15 (grade), including at the top of the fortress page it will show L14 even if you are a L15.
So those having issues, please follow what others have already mentioned and click on the highest chamber it allows you to enter and select runestone and of course those really high chambers, wait for a full house if you can to make it easier to WIN.
PS, Dark V CAN be done without potions, especially if have right balance of professions.
Thanks Kodokmag and everyone else. I did “****” two foes outright In D4. That’s 2 x single challenge in my book. I’m in awe of anyone getting through these chambers without potions. Need to do more homework.

Hung around many times until I got 4 teammates. Beat the whole chamber with not as many potions as I expected and chose my opponents well. Must have had a good mix of professions.

@bennet71 just remember, when want to beat high chamber with minimum potion spent, at least each profession are presents.
And if everyone play right there is no need a potion to spent, this is the hard part. LoL

I am on the third list of tasks. I have been doing tons of wizard challenges and cannot get a baby horned lizard fragment! Do I have to complete a certain amount before I get one?!
did you use baby brilliant runestone? because its a reward from that runestone
@Danger64 your RNG may just be rough. I've had events that I can get all my fortress fragments in a few trys in ruins 1-5. Then some events it takes me 30 brilliant runestones to get 1 or 2 fragments. Just keep trying and don't lose hope!
I've done highest chamber numerous times and the reward won't unlock. This happened in last challenge as well.
@Pennythewizard have you reported this in-app or in the bug-report section here on the forum?
I had same issue.
I even have had -1/16 or whatever the number of opponents required to defeat and was told task not completed!
also impossible to recover fragments of required beast when they have t appeared once in five days! It’s the only thing I’ve needed to complete the challenge.
more than frustrated.
doesn’t matter how any potions I used or three dark detectors at a time to get ‘rare’ rewards. It never happened
