Daily assignment not logging

Hi all,


not sure if it’s just my device or anything, but has anyone else experienced the daily assignment not automatically logging your progress when you first start the game for the day? I’ve experienced countless times when I eagerly start playing the game for the day and half way into it ( collected and used brewed potions etc) I tap into daily assignment to check my progress and it’s blank. I have to restart my progress. Kind of frustrating


device: iPhone 11, iOS 13.5.1

    My goodness that does sound frustrating!


    I am by no means an expert, but I have found 2 steps that tend to resolve the issues I've come across in the game:


    Making sure I have the most updated version of the game...and going into the in-game settings and downloading all assets.


    Hope you find a resolution.


    My last resort is uninstalling the app, restarting my phone and then reinstalling... just be sure you know how to log back into your acct (via FB or google).

    Thanks! I saw another post regarding this issue, seems like a common problem. I did notice that when I first tap into the daily assignment tab then continue playing, then the issue disappears. Don’t know

    Yes, this is a common problem. Work around it by at least accessing the daily tasks -page- and from then on, it should register your activities. At least, that's what I do. Do an easy one to check if one counts, and if that's the case, they should all count.

    If you close the game every night and restart it in the morning that may help. The other trick is to let your daily reward arrive and then immediately go to the dailies task page and that should also allow you to play and get credit. This is one issue many people have and the two easiest ways to currently work around the not logging.

    Sorry to say @Lightmare , this problem is not going away.

    It creeps into my machine every now and then. Close and restart... work every time.

    For the life of me I can’t imagine why this bug still exists! If the system knows it’s a new day and offers me a reward, why is the daily task not tied to that same system.


    I always play for for about two cups of coffee in the moarnings. I can’t tell you how mzny times I’ve played and then realized the dailies are not tracking. You see without coffee in me I can’t function, and I forget to refresh my app! For example, today I’ve had one cup, played through an entire trace pot and just know realized I had forgotten to refresh and noticed it wasn’t tracking my dailies. Meh

    @BocaG - this is perhaps tongue in cheek, but maybe put a sticky on the coffee pot saying "double check the dailies before playing HPWU?"

    Thanks for all the advice! It sucks that this bug isn’t getting fixed but glad I’m not the only one that’s experiencing this issue though
