Energy For Fortess

How about a flat rate for fortress energy cost rather than letting people spend runestones and all their energy and only be able to progress part way through the encounter. Immensely frustrating and will ultimately lead to me quitting the game if not improved upon.

    I love the flat rate idea. I had to leave a fortress when soloing because of that very thing. If I'm with someone, I can at least pull out of combat and focus on healing without an energy cost (providing I have enough focus in the incredibly limited focus pool).

    I'm trying to have a consolidated location for in-game concerns so there's a one-stop location for devs to read (should they even pay attention to us).

    Not sure how that would be done. Would higher level dungeons just cost more energy? Level 1 would be flat 10 energy and a level 5 would be 50?

    Also I kinda like the runes as you can control a bit of the foes you face and rewards you are looking for.

    Maybe instead of a flat rate, allow you to still cast in challenges (and maybe oddity fights) at 0 energy, but for less damage? The chance of crits and potion usage I feel makes things too easy if it's a flat cost, depending on the cost of course
