Make gifts more distinguishable in the UI

It seems needlessly difficult to tell Ingredient and Energy gifts apart.


Runestone gifts are gold with a pink ribbon.

Spell energy gifts are greenish-blue with a gold ribbon.

Ingredient gifts are forest green with a gold ribbon.


This is frustrating. Even if there is some important thematic reason to have two of the three classes of gifts wrapped in nearly indistinguishable paper, they could at least use different color ribbons.


An even better improvement would be to add a visual difference between the classes of gifts. It's annoying to scroll through gifts tapping them to find that Extravagant gift I was saving to use with a Brain Elixir.


(By the way, showing gifts sorted by date received is a great improvement over That Other Game - it keeps me from neglecting friends. And so easy to find available gift recipients, thanks.)

    I am partially colorblind, and often have trouble distinguishing between similar colors and shades. Ironically, I have no trouble at all distinguishing between the 3 gifts.


    I'm not arguing against your suggestion, I just found it odd that for a change I'm the one who can actually tell colors apart.

    I have no difficulty telling the spell and ingredient gifts apart. They even have different patterns on the wrapping. Spell energy has lightning bolts, ingredient gifts have a different pattern (some kind of ingredient?). The ribbon on ingredient gifts is also darker. The ble and green are also very distinguishable.

    maybe phone type matters?

    about the screen? when visits phone exhibits and saw many different phones, the screens display shows a bit different from type to type, isnt it.
