June Wizarding Weekend Event Details

Spend a weekend back at Hogwarts where you can encounter Hogwarts School Foundables including the Portrait of Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall.
Please note: To enable as many players around the world as possible to participate safely, this event has been adjusted to facilitate playing from home. Please remember to adhere to local rules and regulations, and be respectful of others and your surroundings.
From June 26 at 11 a.m. PT-June 29 at 11 a.m. PT keep an eye out for the following:
- Special Assignments focused on returning Hogwarts School Foundables with rewards including Potions, Spell Books, Runestones, Spell Energy and a Silver Key.
- Increased sightings of the Sorting Hat, Gryffindor Student, Portrait of Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, and Portrait of Rowena Ravenclaw Foundables on the Map and from Tonic for Trace Detection
- Tonic for Trace Detection will reveal more Hogwarts School Event Traces and its Master Notes will reduce brew time by 50%

Gryffindor student but not boggart cabinet? That is disappointing. The cabinet is holding me back.
Sorry: Slightly hungover and wasn't thinking. I apologise for the negativity. I am sure the event will be great fun. But would be nice to see whole pages boosted, or at least a couple of things holding people back s9 that they can use the event wisely.
i got several boggart cabinet to day. but still not starred yet. LoL
My advice for the 800 fxp mission: use this week building up to the 3 day Wizarding Weekend wisely, get as many items as you can ready to prestige, be it foundables or challenge fragments.
For example, I’m planning on getting the Wild Boar Portrait ready by using 9 3/4 runestones in fortress challenges. As I’m up to gold on that page, it will reward 1200 fxp in one go.
There should be increased sightings of McGonagall/Sorting Hat etc, these should be able to prestige over the 3 days too, my guess is this weekend should be easier than the 600 fxp MoM from the current Brilliant Event.

Agree with @Magpie31 on boggart cabinet. Maybe there will be more chances of seeing ANY Hogwarts foundables with *higher* chances of the listed ones. So hoping to see more boggarts than usual at least.

800 in 3 days, when 600 took about 5-6?

3 days. Use the remainder of this week to prepare!
Also, more high level traces will be boosted so I suspect the 800 will be much easier than the 600 of this past event.
You can’t compare the two.
This 800 should be significantly easier due to the boost in severe traces.
The current 600 requirement is so difficult because the MoM traces did not seem to have been boosted much at all. Tonics were only yielding a few out of every thirty that showed up.
Prestige pages:
if I have pages with green stars next to all images and I’ve returned each of them at least once, how many more times do each need returned before the page will prestige?
the page have to manually prestige, not automatically prestige it self.🤔

How are you getting the Boar portrait to drop on command ? What chamber with what Rune stone?
When I think I’ve figured it out, I get something else.

Yes, I am aware “I” have to manually prestige the page.
What I’m asking is: how many times do I have to to keep hitting each foundable/image/or whatever you care to call it once it’s maxed?
Example:
I’m looking at a page,
each item on the page has a green star,
each item with a green star has reached it’s maximum number more than once and been tapped/touched/returned only to start over again...
but, still have not seen the prestige icon that will ask if you want to prestige the page...
@WitchHiker can you post a picture? According to your description you should have the option to prestige the page. Once every item on the page has been placed once (so it has a star) the button to prestige the page should appear at the top right corner of the page.
You probably know this, but you can't prestige event pages or pages that are already gold.
@WitchHiker I don’t get it to drop on command, I wish I had that magical power!
I use my 9 3/4 runestones in Tower V, achieving somewhere around 70% - 75% return rate of a 9 3/4 fragment.
Out of those, I get the Boar Portrait roughly 25% - 30% successfully.
I still need the Hogwarts Cup & Hourglasses fragments anyway, so only Owl Lecterns are ‘wasted’ at the moment.
I’ve managed to get 14 Wild Boars in 3 days, only 9 more to go!
Only have 2 runestone of 9 3/4 family so have to skip on that family xp. LoL
To day manage to maxed the trio teletabis ... errr students which is very abundant.
Hopefully others will follow such as flitchwick and pomona, the painting series are rather easy to flee.
Seems like they’re limiting the red Hogwarts
foundable symbol from appearing on map since it’s close to the next event.
Haven't seen any since Monday.
Looks like this might be the place to drop in this link to help people prepare a little easier with their fortress foundables. It is still updated and kept up, and should help the newer players (to the forum anyway) find what they are looking for.
There is also a thread on the forum called Game Research... most (possibly all) of it is still valid.
Really? I’ve seen loads of 9 3/4 traces in the last 24 hours. Really glad to see a few Portraits of Albus Dumbledore pop up.
Changed my plan for the weekend too, it seems the Hogwarts House Cup beat my quest for Wild Boar Portraits.
Almost forgot to empty my cauldron queue before midnight. 😱
