Departure/resist rate increased

The departure and resist rate has increased in the past couple of weeks. I recently leveled up to level 46 and basic fragments are more difficult to actually catch now. Multiple different fragments are departing after one cast, many fragments in a row. The resist rate has also increased for basic fragments, taking 4-6 casts to catch a very common, low threat level fragment. Please fix. Thanks!

I've been having a horrible time with the trace charm. Five new traces and 3 depart?? What's the point? Niantic, I hope you can fix this.
