PoGo just announced that they will be having a virtual Fan Fest for this year. Will we also be having the same? Hopefully, the answer is yes, since many cannot travel, due to current events.
It appears that the tickets are reasonably priced as well ($15 usd for two days). I'm not sure what all is included with the ticket, but it looks like they are also releasing Niantic Social at the same time.
@Kodokmag Giving any sort of reusable content that is exclusive to an even would severely unbalance the game. That would cause even more issues than the fragment "fixes".

Giving spell exclusive to virtual fan festival could make great magical incentive.
Maybe like strategic spell that could regenerate very small stamina each turn.
Or expecto patronum with selection of patron animals.
I take it you are an auror, @Kodokmag? Because both professors and magizoologists already have that strategic spell, so it would be worthless.
I'm magizoologist, well the point is, its not intended to overcome the existing strategic spells. Just for show perhaps. Collector item? 😬
For me as magiz, i prefer a hex, just didnt know what kind of hex would be. It is just an example thought.
