I know I lost fragments by catching foundables, though (E:G Caught a Fawkes which reset my fragments to 10 instead of 33) and a few others like it.
I lost a significant amount of fragments after the May 7th update but I still haven't received the "fix"everyone is talking about. I haven't received any recent updates and there hasn't been any noticeable changes to my registry. I also haven't lost any green stars...
At this point, I don't know if I'm still waiting on an update or if my account was even included in the update. I've gone through pages and pages of comments and I still have no idea what is going on.

So not only did I not get my lost fragments back but now nearly all of the fragments I placed on pages, fragments with green dots, are gone. Please return my fragments. This has taken my enthusiasm away. :(
Same situation, @Sparrowroot. I am sick to my stomach over it! Have no clue what is even going on due to complete lack of communication. All stars have been missing since yesterday around 3 pm, and I have not received any of my lost fragments :’(
My fragments have been a mess and I have already tried reaching out through the in-game support and was told that it has been fixed and that I needed to restart my app to see the fix. I have been restarting pretty consistently since last night and have seen nothing. I am hesitant to play this weekend during the next event - I have lost A LOT of fragments and I never saw anything happen yesterday in regards to the fix that was rolled out at 11AM PDT OR the fix to this fix that was supposedly rolled out at 6pm PDT. Send help please! @hpwulola
I'm the same as @drgnlrds above, no red dots and had issues logging in yesterday morning when others were getting the fix. It kept asking for birth date etc. I'm not sure if I didn't get the fix because I didn't lose any fragments, although I can't believe I did it all correctly...
what a time to no longer have fazes available for crisis management status communications, even if they do come second-hand or third-hand to this forum
@IsThisMajorTom on your gold page the only two left with a star have a high count.
my guess is that on the 6th you had less than those counts and the first fix did not try add some more. As for the others, if you lost a star and did not get it back from the second fix, I can only ask : were you playing between both fixes?
I was not playing at all and the second fix brought back all the stars for me.
I would like to say that I commented yesterday about a problem with the fix when my placed images were no longer placed but the count was the same as before, but actually the team has resolved it and now everything is looking as it should. So hopefully this ends up being the same for everyone. Thanks @hpwulola and team! :)

out of curiosity, does your husband like to keep all counts at maximum like 50/50 or is he like me and keeps them as close as possible to 0/50 on gold pages or easy to find Foundables?
It seems a was favored by the fix by keeping the counts low.
I've been waiting and waiting and still haven't gotten my foundables that I lost by prestiging after the 2.13 update but before the prestige overflow bug was fixed, or in one case, by returning a foundable while being at 11/5 placed on a standard page. I believe that puts me in group 1: those who didn't see an update at all
Examples that I know the exact before count:
Abraxan Winged Horse: 14/15 unplaced on standard before, placed after and ended up at 0/7 instead of 7/7. Have since prestiged to bronze
Puffskein: same as above
Swooping Evil: 10/11 unplaced standard before, placed after and ended up at 0/5 instead of 5/5. Have since prestiged to bronze
Tank of Brains: 11/11 placed standard before, 11/5 immediately after but returned one more and was dropped to 5/5 (did NOT place again after the update at all)
Percival Graves: 11/11 placed standard before, after placing the rest (see below) and prestiging to bronze, placed again and should've had 1/10, but had 0/10. Have since returned 1 more.
Ones I'm less sure on the count:
Quidditch Captain Harry: definitely had more than 3, but was unplaced before. Placed after and ended up 0/3 instead of having overflow.
All of Oddities V: I had prestiged to silver several weeks before the update. Had at least 20 of each, but after placing all 3 to prestige to gold, ended up at 0.
All of Fallen Ministry Atrium except Percival Graves and Voldemort's Portrait: I didn't have enough to place those 3 before, but should've had enough to carry over after placing, but ended up with 0 on all of them. Have since returned a few of them. (Voldemort's Portrait was 8/8 placed standard, I still have the correct amount + 1 returned since the update)
Any updates for the west coast (pst)? Can you add me to the list. Did get fragments back, but lost Prestige on a few families and the green stars as well 😭

My friend & I still haven’t gotten back any lost fragments. Not the fix. Not the fix for fix. So do other members of other discords I belong to. We all were eagerly awaiting a red dot update but it never happened. What’s the deal?
@hpwulola - Please tell them to get a move on, there's an event starting tomorrow and a lot of people (myself included) are scared to play our games. Actually, maybe they should DELAY the event until this is fixed because otherwise, the people who play could get screwed and the people who don't definitely will. Honestly why do they always muck things up RIGHT BEFORE AN EVENT?!?
I appreciate at least some type of communication today, @hpwulola. Many of us are wondering if we should bother to participate in the weekend's event due to the worry of losing any progress we might make while waiting for a permanent fix to the missing fragment issue.
@hpwulola when you update us tomorrow, please let us know if it is safe for us to participate in the magical games event. I don’t want to waste all my time, energy, and potions if it is likely the foundables will disappear. If it isn’t safe for us to do so, i hope you will repeat the event, like March community day. I appreciate your hard work.
I'm now sitting on 9 foundables ready to place images for... so I am missing more and more fragments, the longer this takes to actually get fixed. Even with that, I am most disappointed in the complete lack of communication, in regards to how this is going to be effecting the weekend event!

Mine didn't update. Placed a variety of images, some from dark arts, some from oddities, and a several challenges, and none have been restored.
