I did not receive lost fragments. I'm not sure when the fix was rolled out or when I should've received it, but around when the fix was probably going out, I was getting prompted for birthdate and login provider when starting the game. This happened a few times.
@HPWUrobert I did not get back my lost fragments during the fix aswell. The situation is even worst now than yesterday, as I have lost many other fragments, and I’ve also lost a bunch of green stars ! Please help
@HPWUrobert add me to the list of those whose fix didn't go through. I don't think I lost much on May 7, so I wasn't expecting to see much of a change when the fix happened. Today I lost about 80% of my green stars, and so far (after multiple force closes and restarts) they have not returned.
I haven't seen any changes to my account today. I wasn't expecting much because I mostly waited until the final fix the last time around, but I did place some stickers on Gold frames which forfeited fragments that later would have rolled over to be placed again - most notably the oddity pages, where I had 117 death eaters, 77 3-headed dogs, and 104 azkaban escapees. There are also all the fragments I had used to prestige past bronze on many pages before the requirements were reduced, e.g. 33 flying cars and grawps (in addition to the ones needed to get to bronze itself), but from what I understand, those are not part of the fragments you intended to restore in the first place. I have screenshots of all my registry pages before the May 7 updates if that helps.

I lost thousands of fragments on May 7, then I lost thousands more, due to the removal of most of my stars today (May 27).
Now, I am sitting on max foundables for some and I am not prestiging, since all the bugs, so in effect, I am losing even more fragments; until things actually get fixed.
I know several people who didn't lose any fragments on the 7th, yet they were given thousands of fragments this morning; resulting in 100s of free runestones and red books. That and you saying the updates were done, when they were not makes this whole situation so infuriating! Where are all my fragments, runestones, and red books!?
@HPWUrobert Hi -I have not noticed any change today. Is posting here all that is needed for a review or is ghere another contact method required ? My game may have been active while I was asleep. Thank you
We are collecting this feedback now to fully understand the different issues impacting players who did not see the fix reflected in their accounts. The 2 cases Robert mentioned above seem to cover most of the incidences, but we will report all these comments to our team.
Tomorrow we should have more to share on next steps; we will probably start a new discussion to inform players of our plan.

I had 17 fortress foundables green starred yesterday. Today, they all lost their green stars. Hundreds of runestones and hours of effort down the drain. While everyone was gleefully announcing that their green stars returned, I was restarting my game and re-checking my registry in vain. My green stars have still not returned. Can't something be done to fix my registry?
@hpwulola since this fix will likely not take place until after the weekend event, from the looks of it; will those of us effected be receiving any compensation for the pages that we will not be able to prestige during the event, as well as all the fragments that we are losing by not being able to prestige foundables, due to fear of losing even more fragments?
I prestiged/placed images after being told it was "safe" on May 7, only to find out it was not actually "safe". I was not playing at the time of the initial "fix" today and fully expected to see a bunch of red dots and things I couldn't touch when I opened the game this afternoon after reading about the fix and bugs, but nothing had changed whatsoever. I have not regained a single lost fragment.
@hpwulola@HPWUrobert My situation was I placed quite a few images on May 7th before being told not to - I placed all challenge foundables as well as all of CoMC, MoM and Oddities as well as any other foundable that could be placed but would still leave me needing something else to finish that page. This is where I would have expected to see changes in my count from todays update.
Instead in the update today I have lost nearly every green star in my registry. From what I can observe it looks like everything I have placed since the May 7 update has lost the green star and the counts remain unchanged. As a couple of examples - DADA classroom, I was at full gold on the old system. The update changed the counts for all the students to be 50/55 and I was given a green star for everything on the page. Since then I have managed to get the missing 5 fragments for all students to place those images again, and my counts are all around the 10/55 marks for all. The boggart cabinet though I have not seen enough of to place again with the new number required. With today update my count has not changed for any of them but the students have all lost the green star while the cabinet still has the green star. Under the old system this would show as the image not being placed at all on the gold page - ie it would look like I had recently prestiged from silver to gold, except for the cabinet which hasn't lose the green star and the count hasn't changed.
Another example is my challenge registry pages. Pre May 7 I was full gold on all books and joke products, while symbols I was silver, gold silver. Magical devices and wands were both on uprestiged pages. In the past 3 weeks I have got every page to gold and placed every image to get a green star other than 3 magical device images (Time turner, probity probe, deluminator) and 1 wand (George Weasley). Every other challenge foundable was placed with a green star, a lot of them multiple times over. With todays update I have lost every green star other than 2 wands (Cho Chang and Luna Lovegoods).
Thank you HP team!! Once the green stars were returned, I was able to place many items again and even prestige two pages. I haven't gone through and compared screenshots, but it seems like most if not all of my rare/severe foundable fragments came back. (Cheering for Tom Riddles? What have I become?) Happy to be able to play again and now with many more runestones. Thanks for the communicating through all the fixes.
my situation has been about the same as banjob; i prestiged in game before updating the app and received the warning later in the day. I have played mostly as normal since, and may have been knight bussing when the fix was supposed to go live today. experiencing very similar/identical issue with starred foundables losing their stars, and no restored fragments as far as I can tell. incredibly frustrating, and like others I'm not hopeful for a fix before Saturday :/
It is now 1:26am Eastern on May 28 and I have not gotten my missing fragments from the May 7 debacle OR my green stars and missing fragments from the "fix" yesterday May 27. Going through my registry it definitely seems as though there are fragments that ought to be there and are no longer. @hpwulola please add my username to your list. My husband Mizark007 is currently asleep so I can't speak for his fragment counts yet.

Basically closed the game, came back to brew potions or send gifts, did not place or prestiged anything. Since then, there are no changes to my registry.
i have no idea which category i am in because i do not want to tap any image yet, with or without a green star, unless and until most folks here confirm there are no longer problems with fragment counts and prestige process.
not too confident in the false starts and premature announcements to play, coming from certain official sources
@HPWUrobert I still see that some of the fragments do not reflect the correct numbers. For eg. had already placed Parvati and Harry in the Yule Ball Great Hall page but now it is back to 2/5. Peeves was already placed in the Moving Staircases page, now is at 8/15. Hippogriff was placed but is now 9/15. All these were placed yesterday before the fragment fix rolled out
I also want to report that I lost fragments but did not get any back nor saw any registry change when others did. I did not play at the knight bus when this happened (was not playing at all that hour). I have screenshots from before the 7th May update and made a video showing when I prestige all pages. Hope you guys are able to find a fix to those that still need it. Thank you.
Weird, it seems I'm special category in here. Practically every lost fragment has returned to me and finally after couple of hours green stars too. However Fawkes finished and "green stared" couple of hours before first fix is the only fragment where green star didn't returned. Why?
I'm not entirely certain whether the fix worked fully for me or not. Of the eight missing images I listed earlier, seven of them are placed again after the most recent update. But Pickett still isn't. That honestly makes me doubt my own memory and wonder if I was mistaken about having placed that image this morning... But, given that others are also saying they ended up with partial fixes, I guess it's possible? Anyway I'm like 95% sure I placed Pickett this morning, but now it's 3/5 and says I've seen 5. (I honestly can't remember whether I've gotten every Pickett I've seen, because he doesn't pop up super often!)

I lost fragments in 2.13.0, and didn't see any changes and lost stars at 11 am pdt.
Also I didn't see any changes later at 6 pm pdt. No of green star was returned.
What should I do to return green stars?

I haven't noticed any change, which seems should have been here locally at 8pm (Berlin time). I also wasn't on the bus, I was actually taking a nap.

Fix did not work for me. Still no fragments returned that were lost on the 7th of May and green stars still missing since the first fix yesterday.
I was not on the Knight bus as the fix was rolled out but I was in the middle of collecting a trace.
I am wary of collecting anything in the game right now. Should I continue to collect as normal or wait till my registry has been fixed?

Gryffindor Quidditch banner and Neville Longbottom were placed
Tom Riddle and fragments from the tower were placed
Many other fragments are the same.
