Some are saying everything is fixed now, but my pages appear the same as they were this afternoon. I did not get any of the missing fragments from the last update returned and I’m missing a ton of green stars. I would like to play my game, but I’m afraid it will mess things up more. Is it fixed? Should I play? When can I expect to see things returned? At this point I just want to play and know that I won’t lose anything else!
Another person here who hasn't had any fragments back yet and seeing tons of people with them, im personally getting very worried but also notice that the time range for fragments being places originally is very small even though people were getting problems after that time.
So it also wouldn't surprise me if I was one of those account that prestiged after that time and therefore wont get it back as I prestiged after the ingame pop up was implemented. Still got hit and lost things as the pop up didn't display on my screen as I opened the app, went in to the registry and prestiged everything and then when I came back out it popped up. Offt.
@HPWUrobert I'm sorry for being a pest, but I've been waiting weeks for the return of lost fragments and am getting increasingly disheartened without answers to questions like @SISTERMOIRA's about people who lost fragments but saw no changes today. If I'm SOL, I'd appreciate knowing now rather than later so I don't have to keep obsessively researching for an answer.
@hpwulola Has everyone who lost fragments on May 7th got them back already or is the fix still being rolled out? That is, I lost some fragments on May 7th, but I've yet to receive any back today... so wondering if I should continue waiting or if I don't meet conditions for fragment return?
E.g. I lost 15 fragments of Harry&Parvati on May 7th ~5:56pm PDT (I was on bronze with 25/33 before 2.13.0 update, 25/10 with update, and after prestiging to silver, ended up with zero). Are those 15 fragments coming back today? A later fix? Or am I out of luck?

edit: and what happen with all addtional fragmnents i earn since "fix" but didnt place because of the bugs still. those fragments already at max so i would have place/prestige before, but now i no place bc i am worried abt loosing more
@hpwulola and @HPWUrobert - I still have not gotten my fragments back. Some of my green stars have returned but not all of them. I got back 8 or 9 total when I had waaaay more. When will it be safe to play again? I don't want to play until I get my lost fragments and green stars back and I'm worried that it won't be fixed for me before the event this weekend.
@hpwulola@HPWUrobert any estimation for my place in line for the fixes? I still have not recovered any foundables from the first fix and I am missing most of my green stars from the second fix. I am maxed on some foundables and until the fix for today's issue is pushed, I can't prestige anything, so I am losing progress towards further prestiging!

2nd Fix (restore green 'placed' data)
The fix to restore green 'placed' icons is also done. We used the most recent backup, which was from the prevoius night (pdt) in order to restore the Placement status, Seen #, Returned #, and Location found info. Any Foundables that were returned after the backup weren't kept unfortunately. For example, a Baby Norwegian Ridgeback returned this morning (pdt) on 5/27 would not be accounted for in the Registry once the 2nd fix completed (since the Baby Norwegian Ridgeback didn't exist with the backup).
I want to reassure everyone that it's safe to place, prestige, and play! (at least that's what I've been doing for the past hour 🤷♂️).
@UrbanChronotis no you woundn't lose XP or any chance at a family reward, nor would it be reverted. In the most likely scenario that you were missing a placed image, you wouldn't have been able to prestige it's corresponding page.
@HPWUrobert Unfortunately that is not true. I never got my fragments back and 99% of my green stars are gone. This fix did not fix it for everyone. I am desperately trying to be polite but my game is not fixed and I'm feeling very frustrated.
I was on the knight bus when the fragment restore happened. I never received my lost fragments and all of my green stars are gone. All of them. You say everything has been “fixed” but I’m still one of the many where the fix hasn’t worked.
I'm not seeing any acknowledgement of a forthcoming 3rd fix, to restore fragments spent reacquiring green stars? I now accept that stickers I placed last night are gone, which in my case is no big deal. But when I saw my Dumbledore green star disappear, I spent 5 fragments to get it back. It had been 5/5 green star for at least a week, before becoming 5/5 no star this afternoon, and now 0/5 green star. I spent the 5 fragments before I knew the star would be given back to me without the need to spend fragments. Is this situation final as well?
It can't all be done @HPWUrobert as I have seen no change to give back the items lost from May 6-7. Nothing changed over the course of today leaving me to think that my account had just not been addressed yet. While I was glad to see that I didn't have issues with lost green stars, please don't tell me everything is fixed and I'm just out the MANY items lost between 2.13.0 and 2.13.1.
@HPWUrobert thank you for giving us updates. I did get most of my green stars back so I appreciate the work you guys did to fix that bug. However not all of the foundables I had obtained prior to 5/27 10pm back up. For example - I had 13/14 Knockturn Alley signs as of last night. This morning I got my last one and had gotten the green star and was 0/14. My fragment count now shows 2/14 without a star
which was were I was prior to the update (no fragments on that particular page had been lost as I had just prestiged it to bronze previously). I don’t mind losing the 1 from today because that’s what had been mentioned and I accepted that as part of the fix but to lose the other 11 of those fragments really stinks since that was time and quite a bit of tunes to get those. I have force closed the app as recommended but it still does not show. I contacted support and look forward to hear back.

@hpwulola Could you look into this? @HPWUrobert is telling people it's safe yet myself and many other people on this thread are stating we never got our stars and/or fragments back. You actually seem to know what you're talking about so maybe YOU could help us since Robert obviously does not have the correct information.

Many people are saying that they lost stuff from the May 7th update, but it could have been due to several issues
Prestiging all pages before Fazes mentioned to hold off on prestiging
Prestiging some pages before Fazes mentioned to hold off on prestiging
Caught and pasted foundables before updating to the May 7th version
Prestiging all pages after Fazes mentioned to hold off on prestiging, because they did not see that message
Prestiging some pages after Fazes mentioned to hold off on prestiging, because they did not see that message
Lost fragments due to "incorrectly stickering" all foundables (before fazes' post/after fazes post)
Lost fragments due to "incorrectly stickering" some foundables (before fazes' post/after fazes post)
Lost fragments due to tracing (and catching) foundables significantly after the may 7th update
Which of these above cases/users should be expecting to receive a fix? If you guys can help to explain this better, then people can manage their expectations

Clearly some players are still experiencing significant loss of progress.
Can we request a more detailed postmortem tomorrow? An explanation of what’s changing structurally in Portkey Games’s QA/QC regression testing to prevent disasters like this from getting so deeply embedded in production code?

In fact, I’ve caught a bunch and they should be placed multiple times over (green starred); these are fresh screenshots made as I’m writing this post after your assertion above that hotfix 2 is complete. Hotfix 2 missed some people. Everything on that page had been green starred; I was just waiting for that last Swooping Evil foundable to finish the page.
The DB admin needs to go back and be more thorough with a scripted query to increment a counter per foundable per player from the start and sanity check nonsense like missing green stars as shown above. Knee **** backup restores clearly are missing some of us. I’m praying that the log files exist to do so. Otherwise we’re going to keep getting these bizarro incomplete results and watch a bunch of players toss hands up in frustration and balk. Even rolling out a backup-restore vanishes some of our invested time.
Are player records split across server farms or something? Are your restores across all log DB servers? I’m not seeing any of the fixes that my wife is, and we typically play side by side.

This page for example was fully gold before the 7th and the 3 without stars have had green stars for at least 2 weeks, but now show no stars.
This page had green stars on everything except the unicorn for several days as well. Many now pages like this.
