Lost Fragments

When part two of the Brilliant Quidditch Cup came out I lost lost the runestone fragments for the part one. Now I can’t get them back because the runestones for this event will only drop part two fragments. I was wondering if Niantic can somehow give me back my fragments so I don’t have an empty slot.

Runestones are interchangeable. But usually during an event the runestone drops for that week. Wait until after the event is over and it will be a 50/50 chance of getting either week 1 or week 2 fragments.
