Same family cant get into same knight bus challenge

Has anyone experienced this. Same family members hop on the knight bus to go to a wizarding challenge. But never can get into the same chamber...even if we both select say open ( no one it) forest chamber 1. My family member and I will be in separate chambers, yes we are friends in the game. Any way to link friends together to battle in the same knight bus challenges?

It’s unfortunately not that easy yet. See this page for directions:
It's not a rough road for them to allow groups. I think that should be an option. You can either go in with a predetermined group (must be in your friends list) or go in as a PUG.
That would be, probably, three most useful, powerful, and effective update to the bus.
