So, with the recent Knight Bus update, my little fortressing crew has been amused by the funny and creative names with have stumbled across. From the professor called "PleasePassFocus" (or similar, to a magi called PrinceOfWhales, who gave us images of Prince Charles fortressing with his crown at a jaunty angle... There are some great ones out there.

    The two I’ve seen and gotten a kick out of might not be forum appropriate.... although they were accepted by the game, so who knows?

    There are a couple of Terry Pratchett fans out there, which I love! There was, for example, a SusanStoHelit. Great to run into other Kevins!* 😊

    @Punkyfins Been a Discworld fan for years and never heard that term. He used to call us a bunch of bloody loonies. Been insulted numerous times by the man, which I hold as a badge of honour. He was my boss' neighbour (well, lived in the same village) when I first became a teacher and she gave me a signed copy of The Hogfather DVD one year, which I treasure!

    Oh! @Magpie31 , it might be particular to my reading group on social media. Thought it was used more generally, sorry. It comes from a tetchy joke of his, that all his fans seemed to be named "Kevin"... which tallies with your observations above 😉.

    @Punkyfins Yes, I seem to remember comments about Big Kevin, Little Kevin and Kevin, Aged 14. It might well be used more generally - I haven't lived in an English speaking country since early 2015!

    @Hallanen How do you now the player is FInnish? Being able to tell geography of players is an spect of the game that I haven't heard of before.

    @VoiceMaster Because their name was in finnish. Their name was RouvaKalkaros which translates to MrsSnape.

    I saw a lovely one which was 5dai5 earlier. The number 5 is Ha in Thai, so when it says 5dai5, it is like saying ha-di-ha! Instead of lol, Thai speakers (and residents likenmyself) will type 555.

    @AurorsFocusPls your name belongs in this thread as well! I'm a professor, and I always wonder when I'm in the lobby with another professor if they'll be a team player or not. I'd feel pretty reassured to see a name like yours pop up lol.
