How Han Can You Solo?

I’ve discovered quickly that potions are a rare commodity. Hardly worth using on regular traces, even the high-end ones. I’ve been saving my potions for the Fortress. When I began soloing the ruin chambers, I found myself burning through too many potions, so I stopped using them, just to see how far I could go without.

At level 17 (now approaching L20) I was able to clear all five ruin chambers without potions. The first tower chamber was a different story. I could almost do it (even with a knock out), but not quite. My wife and I were able to clear it together. I imagine as I level up, I should be able to clear it on my own.

I’m curious to know, how far have you been able to solo a Fortress?

Solo is playing alone right? Well i always play alone so that's solo right? Ugh i keep burning my healing potion in lv 4 and 5, i haven't been higher then 5 when mine stamina only 180 and the foes are 200 or higher. That's suicide 😂🤣

I can solo tower chamber 3 without potions. I am a grade 7 professor.

I think the potions will play a greater role as you climb higher. I'm a grade 5 Magizoologist (at level 16) - I've been able to do the 5 ruin levels alone, and having tried the 1st tower level. I was close, but did not make it - ran out of time.

As I also never thought to try it without potions, although I do sometimes - I craft enough potions to where I'm throwing them out for room. Also, Magizoologists are support - so I can revive fallen friends or boost your stamina while you are fighting - that said I use Invigoration potions to boost my focus so i can continue to heal my son the Auror as he takes out the opposition without using potions. I also can boost power against elite foes, but only just got there on my tree - so we have not explored that effectiveness yet.

All in all, we're having great fun. Enjoying WU quite a bit!

Now my approach may be different because we have an ample supply of gardens in town so no shortage of ingredients for us - and learning to stir your potions for quicker brewing is nice, too.

As a grade 5 magizoologist, so far, i was able to go up to the 8th, but not without drinking my share of potions.

I went for the attack skill tree and upped my HP to ~230. My worst nightmares are Elite Defensive Werewolves, they are way too bulky for now.

I wanted a support character who can handle himself pretty well and i can say that magizoologists seem great for soloing.

    Have fun sorcerers !

In theory, your grade should be represntititive of how far you can easily go, As a Rank Professor, I can easily clear 4 without a potion, 5 depends on the mix of monsters. 3 Dark Arts means I'll qiuaff my fair share, while three curiosities I can clear without anything.

@Rylandi Is it worthwhile to even do higher lvl chambers? I noticed the xp is not much different regardless the lvl. Possible the chance for better drops? I'm lvl 24, rank 6 Professor on Chamber 7.

@Siragaz The "Account-XP" doesn't change significantly on higher-levels... the Family-XP of the Reward (determined by the Runestone used) however increases on higher levels as well as with higher runestones used.
