Suggestion: Let Us See Other Player’s Profession Levels & Make New Fortresses Chambers Level 15+
As Niantic adds new fortress chambers, I hope you consider making them exclusive to high level professions (I.e., only allow players with profession levels 15+ to enter — NOT just a suggestion). Short of that, at least show each player’s profession level in addition to their category. I suspect too many low level players are entering fortress chambers way above their ability and experience level and are relying upon the higher level players to carry them. Maybe some aren’t engaging at all. That would be ok if I could decide to be charitable, but at this point I have no idea who I’m playing with since it’s all random. If you made a player’s profession level transparent to other players, they could choose to bail if it looked unlikely they could win with the mix of professions and experience.

I've just been in the fortress and thought the same thing. I really don't want to carry a level 7, no idea of their profession level, through Dark 5. I suggest making the suggested level a requirement.
It might be too late to turn back now, since it’s become a free-for-all, but I hope the ‘suggestions’ become requirements going forward.
One problem we need the devs to fix first is our profession level. I'm a level 15 Auror and until recently it showed me as level 13. It's now showing level 14 so eventually it may catch up to the proper level!
Yeah — I’m having the same problem.
Same issue here. I’m a Level 48 player and have been a Level 15 Auror for several weeks. When I enter towers for Wizarding Challenges, I’m still showing up as Level 14.
@Hinkyjinks
What do you think of https://community.harrypotterwizardsunite.com/en/discussion/6188/talent-overview-in-fortress-lobby, would that fulfill part of your request?
I have wondered which way they will go, increase number of chambers or level of runestone? Maybe both?
Fortress levels could also be locked for players not within the threshold. For example: a level 7 can't join a level 10+ floor. A level 5 can't join a level 7+ floor etc.
I was about to similarly suggest the game show the profession level, but for the opposite reason. I don’t mind carrying lower level players to some extent as long as they throw charms and play as best they can. I would rather that than players joining, doubling the foes to fight, and then fleeing, presumably thinking they can’t handle it. If they could see my level (15 Professor), they might realize I can carry us as long as I have some help. Let’s not even mention the two times I have tried Dark V with 5 players and ended up on my own within the first 30 seconds.
I am a level 15 Auror but in the fortresses I’m listed as level 14. At least one other player on this forum has the same problem. I have deleted the game and reentered it. This did not fix the problem. Is there a way to correct this?
@Radretired Nope, sorry to bust your bubble, but it is a known visual bug that doesn't affect gameplay. It has been around since the end of 2019 possibly.
Welcome to the forum btw!
I'd like to see that when players don't engage in the battle they don't receive any of the rewards at the end. I'm a level 13 and am happy to do my bit in any of the rooms and always boost the other players but I get really peeved when players don't even try!
@StrawberrySplit I agree that it’s frustrating and it bothers me too, but personally I’d hate to see punishments implemented until they fix the KB issues. There are still people who get in and then get kicked out, etc.
that being said, one of the social media peeps (I believe it was orange wizard) confirmed that they can tell who is having issues and who is joining battles and simply doing nothing, so maybe that’s an avenue they can explore
