The unicorns, however are not 🙁 I spent about 5 hours today walking around, using TTD back to back, and only 1 unicorn appeared (in 10 TTDs). Yeah they are rare, but can they be a little less rare for the duration of the event? Like at one unicorn for every TTD used? That would help a lot of us prestige this difficult page!
@hpwulola Thanks, I have tried that. Restarting the app doesn’t really get rid of any traces but it does sometimes shift them around a bit so I can reach whatever I couldn’t before. Unfortunately restarting the app also sometimes causes whatever I was trying to reach to disappear as well. It’s worth trying though when nothing else is working! Thanks, again!
I haven't found any portkeys either, despite trace tonics and an empty portkey page. Am I missing something? Byw... greatly apprecitate the knoght bus with our stay at home order.
@kiheikid I don’t think that @MtPollux is being “tiresome, myopic, or rude”. He is putting things in perspective based on what happens for any traces during non event times. Some people have seen more Unis then others for sure but you calling him out just shows your true negative and RUDE nature in general as @MtPollux is one of the most fair minded individuals on this forum. IMO
So as Bambi’s mom said in the Disney movie, “if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all. Just a general rule of thumb to live by. So take it for what it’s worth... just my two cents.
I think what @MtPollux is trying to convey is that this is a relative scale, not an absolute one. I also have seen no unicorns in this event, but I am lucky to see one unicorn in six months. If @MtPollux has seen 6 in 24 hours as opposed to 2 in a month, it shows that they are still rare but are indeed boosted. It may well be that for those of us in unicorn-light areas, we don't see any, or only one or two, as the boost isn't dramatic enough to impact us much.
So what I am saying is that I think you are both right, because you are seeing the same thing from different perspectives. It is far from non-existent in trace rich environments, but still far too rare for the rest of us.
There are nicer ways to say that, though, rather than using such strong labels. What I find interesting is that if someone spoke to you that way, @kiheikid, you would be the first to flag and report it as bullying behaviour. So why is it then fair to act that way towards others?

I have been pleasantly surprised by this event. Was dubious about the double return thing and spell energy, but the energy drops are keeping levels up, and the doxy return is a nice perk. Thanks.
I am glad too for those goodies and gold. Just the more delay on defeating the poacher increasing to more stack on lump of traces on map. Some times event cant keep up with the poacher trace spawn it self.
Such a waste of time and traces if so many gone into an "encounter error"

I’ve had loads of Strong Exstimulo Potions, TTD, silver keys, Dark Detectors, gold coins and Spell Energy from them. The odd Wormwood ingredient too.
For me, I find it’s worth opening them all, just for the Strong Exstimulos. Lots of the traces will be ‘encounter errors’, so there are probably less to open than you think.

Just to be clear: I like the "not departing automatically" of the traces. I cannot keep up with a TTD and all the things that spawn, so having them stick around afterwards to clean things out is very, very nice.
What I would like to see: Just as we have red pulsing flashes for things that will go away sooner, how about something else for things that will stick around until we finally get them.
AND: How about "Hide all but a few of the most recent" of those? The intent here is that if I want to work on the time-limited stuff, I can hide the long-term things; if I want to keep track of how many yellow, orange, and red traces I have in long-term, I need to at least see the new ones so I can bump my count up.
We could then go to "filter by becon color", "filter by age", "filter by actual creature type", "filter by bonus drop", or "filter by what images I don't have completed yet". -)
Yes, in response to spawn comments I've only seen two unicorns, three portmanteaus, and am still short on adult nifflers. However, I managed to place newt and the poacher doxy fragments and all the bonus rewards from the magizoology traces were much appreciated! I must have made over 300 gold and got a bunch of potions.
It was so good that, despite being pretty OCD about keeping my spell energy on max I ground it down halfway and will top it up once the weather improves and I can get out in the day (I don't care about rain but my phone does!)
I just placed Newt for the second time! So I think in total I saw him like 22 times, then 7 occamy eggs, and 3 unis. I think I used around 10 TTD’s. It was a fantastic game vent so thank you team! The rewards were nice too. I think all in all I got about 250 gold coins which I of course had to use for SE and one TTD potion, 2 strong exstimulo potions, tons of hermit crab shell, and a few dragon claws and unicorn hairs. Tons of wormwood too. Oh and probably about 100 SE. I certainly wished there would have been more Unis but I got to prestige the page once so all is good. Oh and I placed my 200 gold doxy’s! Whoop whoop 🙌
That's a wrap with the Natures and Nifflers event! Hope you all enjoyed, it was pretty unique compared to other events! I had a lot of fun! My phone is telling me that my screen time for Wizards Unite has been quite high for the last few days 😁
@Dewin99 I am a full-out moron!!!! I was only thinking about fragments and since I didn’t need any of them, I did not attempt catching any of them! I am starving for potions and unicorn hairs so I COMPLETELY missed my opportunity! Should have come to this community one day sooner!
I did read your response to my post at 1:20 though so I had 40 minutes to catch as many as I could so thank you for at least those 40 minutes!!!
@Hoyot Me, too! Will they remain until we beat them? I really don’t want to waste all of my precious spell energy doing that. I had to purchase it because I went into a Dark fortress chamber with 4 others and they abandoned me immediately. I used up most of my potions and spell energy trying to beat it on my own until I got down to about 20 energy, no useful potions, and two minutes and two 3000+ XP Elites remaining. I had to drop out and lose my level 5 Magizoology runestone!
@hpwulola Sorry to complain so much but, seriously, can you make them go away please? I thought it was just leftover traces at my house but they are everywhere I go!

@Bormacska i think a group of nifflers is a vault or a purse depending on size of the group. ..babies are nuggets or blingies.

For similar event like this, perhaps the next poacher make it easier to take down. Say make his stamina 100 or more susceptible to critical.
This event poacher often take my precious time with about four attack in a row.
So now that I'm realizing nifflers have gold both as babies and adults, why do we not get gold drops all the time from them?
And it's not just unicorns -- adult nifflers are blocking that other page.

I had a problem.. too many common blue foundables made it hard to collect rare ones. For this reason I missed a few foundables.
