Were you part of a fortress team with a particularly good teammate? A professor who cast their defence charm or proficiency charm? Or an auror who cast their confusion charm on a particularly irksome enemy? Maybe the magizoologist revived you or cast the bravery charm?

This is a great idea for a thread. I've been applauding teams who did grand Last Stands. Or just fab battles all over. This will be a great place for me to give them their deserved applause. 😊

Only 1 screenshot. Forest chambers battles have been fabulous the last few days. Battles are becoming smoother with random mixes of players. Aurors passing focus and hexing foes for other players, magi healing and teams with multiple professors got both shields and proficiency quickly. If you were in any1 of 2 I had a restart bug with and I scared you (or thought I was a troll) I apologize. Luckily I was able to get back and help out. Thank you for being great team players

As for finding friends on Discord, if you both are in the same server, go to any text channel (preferably general chat where roles aren't applied, normally) and type their username. You should get a bunch of users sharing the same name and their respective tags:

Today after the well-known lobby-leave I was left with just one Awesome Auror in Dark I, just the two of us.
Not one to give up (well, runestone is lost anyway): I started shielding, receiving focus, casting proficiency and battling.
We won! This Auror, due to sticking around and sticking to the strategy, was kicking bum and taking names.
As I cannot be sure whether they want to be named here, I'll refrain from calling them out for an ovation.
But I know: you rock, wizard!

@Punkyfins I experienced something similar, but my fellow wizard was magizoologist and can’t recall his name 😢
We were left to fight all alone in the dark chambers, but we lost... but he/she had my back and got his/hers, and that was what kept me till the end, and that is the magic of playing as a team!!! So a big thank you to him for not abandoning the ship!!!
ps. I know I’m a bit emotional right now but would really want all of you as my friends, you seem like great people!!!
@Unitious, it's nice to have a little positivity, right? And I think we are all feeling a little emotional these days. It's not necessarily a bad thing. As I tell my kids, emotions are superpowers!
@Magpie31 i couldn’t agree more with all the above!!! (My friends think that being emotional is my weakness 😎 Though I’m not a crying baby or something)
My wife was left hanging in a dark chamber during the recent CD event. She asked me to give her divine partner a shoutout for staying the course. She likes her professors! 😁
Thanks you for this thread! I loved fortress day! I did manage to **** with my friends over discord voice chat for a few hours of playing together, like we used to in person, so that was awesome! But the rest of the day it was with strangers, so when theybwoukd play well, it was impossible to say “nice job”!!!
Lots of people who have probably not done a lot of team fortressing before, probably loved the opportunity to do Dark chambers but with all of the “group fortress newbies” out there on Saturday the ones who knew how to play really stood out! Aurors who gave focus to professors and hexed erklings and pixies, professors who knew how to cast défense shields and proficiency spells and people who knew to die so I could revive them!
This image below was my real dream team, wish I knew how to find them again so I could tell them how great they were!

Just found the dream team in Dark 5 tonight. Really smooth battle, considering we were strangers with no communications. Finished with 4 mins to spare!

Diwadiwata is actually a different player than diwadiwadi. I have the former on my friends list, the latter I have run into randomly on the KB. The names are soooo close!

So many good teammates, but I need to say a particular thank you to yesterday's D5 crew. If you saw my name and saw me as an auror, that was a big oops and I apologise greatly! I used potions as best I could and sincerely thank the magi for picking me up!

This is a fantastic idea for a thread @Magpie31 ! There are so many times we do a great battle and because i play with friends at other times who i can thank on voice channel or txt in discord, when it is with strangers & the rewards screen comes up, it feels sorta rude not to be able to say thankyou!
Also what I'd often wished i could have said was something like- that was awesome- do u wanna go again & maybe move up to next chamber? But they're gone & theres no way to communicate so at least here we can give them a shout out!!

@Bormacska Imagine my surprise to find a notification about being mentioned in this particular thread! Wow, thanks so much for the shout-out! I tend to do, like, one wizarding challenge and then back out to check what else I might need Registry-wise and then jump back in. I wish there was a way to stick around with a random teammate you find sympatico to your strategy. I'm a goober and like to stick to lower chambers using higher runestones so I can sweep it pretty quick but I've recently tried to solo a few higher-tier chambers and had to use, like, 6 healing potions in one WC so I'll probably go back to lower chambers where I feel OP haha. I'll certainly keep an eye out for your name from now on!
By the way, everyone: is there a thread for friend codes? I mean, I'm guessing there is - I'd like to friend some folks like Bormacska, @Magpie31 and @Dogoutlaw (who I'd also like to give a shout-out to for giving me advice on this forum about beaconing and then serendipitously finding me beaconing and jumping in to run a WC with me).
