Hey everyone! We have details of The Burrow Besieged Part 2 Brilliant Event to share!
There will be six new Foundables on the Outside The Burrow Registry Page.
Here is where you can find them:
- Brilliant Encounters: Brilliant Flying Weasley Car and Brilliant Ginny Weasley
- Quest Rewards: De-gnoming Gloves and Arthur Weasley’s Shed
- Bonus Quest Rewards: Errol 🦉
- Portkey Rewards: The Burrow Sign
Start clearing your Portkey vault to pick up Brilliant Portmanteaus, which will be 1.5KM. As a reminder, Part 1 Portkeys will give you part 1 rewards anytime you open them, even if you wait to open them during Part 2.
There will be a Bonus Assignments that follow the main tasks and this time, the Bonus Assignments will reward you with a Brilliant page foundable, best of luck! Remember to pick up your complimentary store pack from Diagon Alley 🎁

Looking forward to it. I had quite a indoor workout walking in place late yesterday afternoon. Managed to open 5 portkeys. 🤦🤷 And somehow picked up another one. At least it is a 1km to I will have plenty of room for event portkeys.

I can barely find and Gnome confoundables!
stuck on step 2/4 waiting for gnome confoundable traces — none in 90 minutes
might have to bust out a tonic, even though i was trying to save tonics for step 3/4

It seems like all I am getting are gnome foundables and brilliant traces. And plenty of sorting hats!!
got the five gnome foundable but only after popping a tonic during step 2/4
by the way, the burrow besieged brilliant runestones are not working properly ... during brilliant event week 2, they are supposed to return a brilliant errol fragment (if at all). however, today, they are returning fragments of brilliant errol (week 2) OR brilliant pigwidgeon (week 1) even though week 2 just started today and is not yet over. it took me 10 burrow beseiged brilliant runestones at ruins chamber 4 to get my 3 brilliant errol fragments. the rest of the time i was either getting blanked or getting brilliant pigwidgeon. da missus (mbs808) spent 15 burrow beseiged brilliant tunestones, also in ruins chamber 4, and got only 1 brilliant errol fragment. the other times, she either hot blanked or got brilliant pigwidgeon fragments.
We are investigating the bug with Brilliant Event runestones in this event:
Currently, a Fortress may give Errol or Pidwidgeon fragments when you use the Brilliant Runestone. I am unsure what the timeline is for the fix, but will update the bug report when I do!
@HPWULola thank you! Love event and sorting hat spawn 😀 but need also dumbledore's portrait 😑
@Hoyot - i too need that last fragment of dumbledore’s portrait, which i have not seen in months ... all these sorting hat spawns, wasted until i can prestige the page, which won’t happen without dumbledore’s portrait (and two more fragments of the house hourglass too) ... and today was probably my last opportunity to visit a fortress for two weeks or so (unless the knight bus comes online soon)
Has there been a decrease of spell energy on the map? Since this new week was released I’m stuck at home and no spell energy popping up on the map. Guess I’ll stop playing. Bummer

begs the question why those answers are not provided directly by the HPWU team to the members of this “official” forum, but that dead horse has been beaten into dog food
@kiheikid New to forums? Mods typically don't have inside info from the devs. And when they do, they also have an NDA.
I think, @Craeft, there is (rightly or wrongly) an assumption that those moderators with HPWU in their name are based at the San Fransisco offices and work alongside the development team. They are certainly also the people who respond to help requests (several have had support from @hpwulola, for example).
I don't think @kiheikid is suggesting that the forum gets insider intel as such, but rather that this is the official forum, so the news should be released either first or simultaneously here. And this is not just about community or a sense of entitlement, but also the fact that the official website would really be the first port of call for many new players looking for information.
But... I have long given up worrying about that. Clearly not a priority for the team, and it is easy enough to check Discord.
For what it's worth, though, @kiheikid has a point.
