Event foundables and portkeys issue

So my phone (Galaxy J6) is one that is unable to use the AR and Portkey functions in the game, but apparently one or two of the foundables for the Flora and fauna event require the player to open brilliant event portkeys and 5 general portkeys. If I am literally unable to use the required function then does that mean there is no other way I can possibly obtain the foundables just because of my phone type and I'll miss out on these because of that?

    Sorry bud, there is no way you can complete the task! Cause, your device lacks Compass and Gyro .. Without them, you cant use portkeys.


    May be try to complete it by logging into any of your friend's phone.

    But then isn't account sharing against Niantic's terms and service? Meaning that they will count it as cheating even though I'll only be doing it to be able to use portkeys..
