Great concept but it's a bust. I've been attempting to connect to the game for the past 4 hours and all it's doing it blinking back to the log in screen. My guess is you underestimated how many people would be attempting to participate and were not prepared for the number of people attempting to log in all morning long. Good luck next time.
Xp system broken, no spell energy appearing on map... And flee rate not reduced... does anything work on this game anymore... Time to consider leaving... Does this game really work in a lockdown situation... I think not... At least Pokemon go did a better job
I found that portkeys spawned at a similar rate to Brilliant Event portkeys - if you don't usually see them at your house, then don't count on it. But that was just me.
I haven’t seen a single one of the Magizoology findables that are supposed to be appearing unless I have a TTD active. I thought they were supposed to be appearing more in general, not just with the potion. I can’t get any event portkeys because the ones I have I’ve had trouble opening some to make space because my gold key is opening a 10k portkey and I never seem to get silver keys and it’s just too hard to get much distance at home even with adventure sync. I’m going to have to actually go out, which I would rather not do, to try to play the event.
The Erumpent and Branch of Bowtruckles are both Medium threat traces but when you are in the trace and you open the potion screen it says they are high. Is this an adjustment they made for this event? If so, it seems like a sneaky way to force us to use more potions. Hopefully it’s just a mistake because that would be uncool if it’s deliberate. 🤷🏼♀️
@CeruleanGirl also on iPhone. I’m not getting any of the community event items anymore. I got a few earlier with TTD only. No spell energy so that’s a problem too.
same @CeruleanGirl I was able to prestige once but I'm not going to be able to finish the portkey part because it's taking way too long to unlock them and make more room. I was hoping they were going to fix adventure sync in time for this event
@CBG92 Luckily I am able to leave the house but I don’t want to interact with people more than necessary so I just drive over to the parks near my house and play while sitting in my car. I prestiged the page twice and have it pretty close a third time. I am lucky to still be able to play in my car and to have several good spots near
my home to play. This is where I stand at the moment...
@CeruleanGirl I was able to go out around my apartment complex and collect enough portkeys that I will be able to prestige at least one more time thankfully. What's more frustrating is that I just purchased 2100 coins this morning and went through so many of them because everything kept fleeing on me without potions. I'm glad I could finish everything but that's so disappointing as a regular player
I was able to prestige the page but the trolls kept fleeing and I ran out of time to finish the event. It wasn't perfect but I had fun, so...disappointing but still worth it. Thanks, programmers!
Wow, this time "boosted" really meant "boosted"! This event was amazing. I couldn't play as much as I wanted, but because we had 24 whole hours, 24... I did get much further than I expected. Pickett wasn't the only thing boosted, my mood was too. It was just the distraction I needed. I hope others were as lucky as I was in that regard.
Yes, there were bugs and errors and lag, I too lost out on some potions and encounters, but luckily there were so many chances at those encounters that it still went very well. For me at least. Commiserations to those who experienced more problems than I did.
Having so much time so that more people had a chance of fully participating was so very welcome. And the boosted fragments really were boosted! Still can't really believe that :)
I did have more trouble than normal with, for example, the Erumpents. Day before yesterday I could get most of them on first or second cast, now I often needed so many tries that I lost count, so much se on just the one fragment. With exstimulo even. And it's a shame that casting spells succesfully was much harder now due to the update, nobody likes to waste charges on their potions or minutes of their tonics and elixirs. Departure rate did seem lowered, thankfully. Though, having the resist rate so high meant that those not lucky enough to be able to get to an inn or open gifts were quickly running low on energy. I did notice more se bolts spawning, not sure if it only appeared that way to me or if that really was increased, but it meant that I didn't run out of se as quickly. Just potions lol
I really need to get a lot of brewing done asap to replenish the vault!
I think that if the Mischief Managed event was boosted in the same way, or closer to this than it actually was, all of us would still be impressed by how awesome it was to have the change in spawns depending on our personal progress, that was just amazing and I am sure I am not the only one who would like to see that again sometime.
I loved having a 24 hour CD, I loved the changing spawns from the previous event, I hope we get to see more magic like that in the game!

Appreciated that all the foundables on the Central Park page were boosted not just 1 or 2! And that almost all the Magizoology icons on the map during the event were from the Central Park page and not other foundable from different pages same family.
I went overboard using- lots of silver keys, more than 100 potions, almost emptying my energy and it was worth every asset I spent!
I had to leave my house to go to a local hotspot to get portkeys. Not a case of walking, I could be sitting still inside my car and fill up no problem.
By the end of community day my energy was 40/475. I had plans to walk to a local to restock energy Sunday. I decided to stay inside instead. Sunday, I opened only energy gifts ( most where basic se). I opened the game frequently collected any ⚡️on the ground. I was conservative with energy usage. I returned a few flared foundables (McGonagall), a few oddities, unlocked 5 1km portkeys and used a TTD and a BBE (because 5 portkeys) at dusk (ssssshhhhh, I'm hunting leprechauns) to finish my dailies . I returned everything while the BBE was active because XP. To my surprise and delight, my energy is backup to 327 after this morning's +10 for picking up ingredients.
I'm please with that, and thankful for the games adaptation for at home play.

So far I have only found two portkeys...I am hoping to find more soon.

So thats why their resist so often. Spell energy expenditure was very troublesome to me.
